Dude just because he said he will pay shipping and everything isn't a give away. A giveaway is a random a selection bro, not favoring a person for offering to pay shipping and handling.

A giveaway is supposed to be random or there is no reason to make a fuss about who you are giving it to.

 

I think you gave him too much credit on the" random selection" part, what @Original did is considered a auction. Which I have no problem with expect this is a Giveaway section AND labeled as a giveaway.

Hence the backlash he is getting.
