    1. I wanted to talk about it a little bit moar.

    2. Been staff for a long time on a server with this system, this rarely ever happens anyway.

    3. I find that a little patronizing, anyways. The admin makes a ruling and states who's right and why he is right. Again, admins are already doing this, so nothing changes. Adding a forgive option does nothing to increase the arguing, if someone lies in a report, and the victim starts arguing over voicechat that he's lying in the report; the admin steps in and makes a ruling. If he's indeed lying he gets slain and the argument ends, if he wasn't lying then he doesn't get slain and the argument ends. A lot of victims will always argue and call their killer a bullshitter even if proven otherwise, again; no changes.

Mods do not have discretion. Only Admins do. What you are saying is for every Moderator to moderator every situation and then make a judgement call as if they are going to know these two players are friends. This creates to much of an incident people can just loophole out of "oh we were just friends"

The reason being, Incends and Discombobs are KoSable is the damages they can do unseen. As a Moderator, I have slain hundreds of people for just 'Throwing a Discombob for fun' and it has blasted someone off a roof by mistake and it was an 'Accident.' You don't need to throw these gernades, and doing so can cause damage to people. Just looking shooting towards players 'can' hit them. The players observing don't know if your intent is "Messing Around" or "Traitorous".

Yes, we all have done that, and yes for that mistake, as it is accidental RDM and you had not paid attention, you get a slay because YOU ruined someone elses round. That is the point of the punishment.

It has been explained to you multiple times how it can be abused. Its not a matter of messaging staff, but how other people who troll can come in, cause a firefight by RDMing their 'friend' forgiving them, and then six people who killed eachother for two friends messing around are upset because two people decided it was a good idea to shoot eachother in a pack of Innos.

We are glad you have staffed before and understand you are in favor of it, on that server. Here with SeriousGmod, we have built a rather strong community, and with so many servers, wonderful community member, and staff to back this up. We simply do not favor a forgive option here because it can be abused. Majority of the community agrees, just like @MangoTango believed the 5 Second Rule should be changed and the community had a very indepth discussion about it, but in the end it was not changed. Those kind of discussion are great to have. You are simply arguing for the sake of arguing because you 'feel' it should be this way. Not the benefits of it.

  3. I totally agree, it is alot easier for moderators and most people will get mad at you for getting them slain over one little thing because you cant recall slays/reports.
Say MrJack is running around MrJohn. And MrJohn is randomly hitting in the air. Hitting someone once by accident is appereantly KOSable and slayable. Therefore when MrJohn accidentally his MrJack and he dies, because he had 10%hp, he reports him. Then MrJack realizes that it wasnt RDM, but oh no! He already reported and MrJohn gets slain on his T round because of a little misunderstanding and they are enemies for life now. Thanks SeriousTTT. ._.
