Accepted Why is spraying Lolicon/3D rendered underage girls in sexual positions not punishable?

Yeah, seriously. You guys are barking up the wrong tree here. Let's take the easy solution.

Actually, I think it would be pretty fun if we could have a way for a person to mark their own spray as 'NSFW', a little togglebox down below, and give each player the option to view SFW Sprays, No Sprays, or All Sprays. If someone posts a NSFW spray in SFW, they get punished, and the spray still can't feature anything illegal.

Worried about children just toggling the NSFW feature? They are playing a game about murdering people, almost certainly unsupervised on a device featuring the internet. They know what porn is already.

I always found this somewhat ironic. You play a game that involves PLOTTING TO MURDER OTHER PEOPLE using GUNS and EXPLOSIVES. It simulates ACTS OF TERRORISM, but no, we gotta protect the "ESRB rating of the server". No sex. Sex is bad. Baaaaaad. This is akin to stereotypical American-Christian beliefs. "GUNS, MURDER, WAR, and DEATH. But no sex."

 

Right after you inquired about this spray in question last night on the server, you sprayed an image that was even more lewd.

 

What exactly does this have to do with anything in this thread? It wasn't a loli spray or anything of the kind. I am fully willing to take punishment for that spray if you want.

Not the best thing I ever did but we were just screwing around. The fact I didn't get any punishment speaks volumes for how sprays are treated.

You would've rather been given a ban instead of a warning to change it? And it has to do with this thread because I find it interesting that you're so adamant that we be more strict with the spray rules but you yourself sprayed something that was wildly inappropriate.

Was I warned? I might have missed it if so because I didn't see anything like that. I changed it anyway because it was a one time joke. Someone said "NO MODS POST PORN SPRAYS" and I reacted by spraying a SFW porn spray after hyping everyone up that I was going to spray an actual porn spray.

Anyway, yeah a warning for that kind of stuff is fine. But it still doesn't take away from the fact that people can spray the spray in the OP and get away with it. Imo what I sprayed was better because it didn't depict underage children, but hey, that's just my opinion. Also big boobed furry sprays are allowed too from what I've seen. Again, selective enforcement that causes people to not know what the mods will actually do something about.

Since this is somewhat on topic on what’s punishable or not, I’ve seen people spray a blond girl next to a naked black guy but but most of it is cropped out which I’m extremely sure is from porn.

Gotta love that gray area, no repercussions for having 12 yr old girls basically naked as sprays. Nope that’s fine.

There is a big difference between having a lewd spray of someone who looks like 14 and someone who looks 20-30. (wasnt on server so dunno what he sprayed exactly)

The point of the thread is that there is no reason to allow sprays of girls that look underage and that have revealing clothing or anything alike and call it "grey area". It just should not be allowed.
People can have still have their cute gifs but instead of children in swimsuits they can change their spray to children playing with dogs etc if they like children acting cute.

Because all people do not live alone and/or want to play with friends. Im constantly home with other people who see me play and do not think of it much more than a shooting game but theres no way I could play normally if someone had a spray of 6 black guys gangin up on a blonde and there was a possibility my family saw it. Not to mention if I was going to invite a friend to a server it certainly would not be this one if people had even weirder sprays than we do now. Its already weird as fuck when someone walks into my room and possibly seems a 13 year old in revealing clothing. /shrug

Its a "nice" idea but its too much work for a game that has nothing to do with sprays. There is no reason to have NSFW sprays in a gmod server.

Anyway back to on topic, big +1 to overall idea of the topic, even a if a spray of an underage isnt "arousing", it should still not be allowed if it has revealing clothing.

 

I know the spray you reference but if I am seeing the same photo as you are there is nothing wrong with it and both are legal in the photo as far as I'm aware so it doesn't go along with the topic here. As far as the original spray goes I don't like it.

To a large degree, I don't care about sprays, they're just a cosmetic and or fun thing on the side. Whether it's a nazi joke, a weeb picture, or a C4. But I fail to see the problem with making a rule against even sketchy imagery when it involves characters or people that appear to be children.
Whether explicit (God forbid) or just sketchy like the image in OP (I saw it), I'm of the opinion that it should be disallowed.

We already have a hard-line stance on sexual content involving children - and for good reason. I see no reason to allow for a gray area when it comes to what is a child or is physically indistinguishable from one. It is either clearly innocent (girl running in a dress in a meadow) or it is questionable (e.g. OP post). If it moves into the questionable category, it should be removed and warned for. If repeated, it should warrant a ban.

By all means, allow for a gray area where it's somewhat suggestive or questionable - but still fine - when depicting adults, np.
Do NOT allow for that with children.

 

Idk. The grey area is different for each staff member tbh, It's unfortunate but that's just how it is. Usually we'll ask others about the spray before doing anything~ I personally wouldn't allow these kind of sprays on the server I'm staffing, but hey that's me.

loli's in sexualized clothing should never be allowed because of the staff leniency. That should be something to punish the staff member for if they don't actually do something about it.

also if the staff member thinks that pictures like that is allowed please demote them before we have another one of those situations...
