Why is calling out detectives still KOS-able?

I dont think you should be kosed for kosing a detective, if anyone follows it they are dumb anyway, the issue I have is sometimes detectives kos eachother for a joke, then someone sees that, doesn't notice the person the detective kosed is another detective, so they repeat the kos and then someone goes "errr kos this guy for kosing a detective" when really all hes doing is repeating the kos THAT is toxic gameplay, now making it so kosing detectives isn't kosable would eliminate that

if you have a chance to hit a kos bind on a det during a firefight, chances are he has the chance to do the same so that shouldnt be an issue

 

I myself usually press my KOS bind when fighting with someone, including detectives, so this would give a valid reason to kill me. I myself usually kill people who call out detectives (in text chat, not voice).
