I am an avid user of marijuana, and personally I see no harm in it. Yes everyone has a different experience when it comes drugs. For me it's just to relax me and keep my joint pain to a minimum, I am developing arthritis in both my wrists, and my knee caps are horribly destroyed. The tenants in my knees are pretty bad from 7 years of cross-country, and several other running events (marathons and speed races). There are literally next to no negative side-effects, sure the smoke inhalation might hurt your lungs and eventually damage them but it's a minor concern compared to cigarettes. It is purely a recreational thing for me, I refuse to do it at work or in public places. No it does not make me stupid for doing it, no I am not brain dead, and no I am not a stoner. I am a simple man doing what he feels like due to the freedom we have. When I was in school (graduated with honors) I was an 90% average student, the education system never challenged me, it only tested my ability to remember certain subject matter. I'm not saying that everyone that does it is intelligent, I'm just saying we are all different and what we do on out free time doesn't mean squat in the grand scheme of things.
Actually for your information you insubordinate prick i have a unnamed knee problem where the bone in my knee grinds against the cartilage and slowly grinds it away causing excruciating pain frequently. So before you try to act better than someone you need to learn your facts.
This is funny, you are saying that smoking weed makes you dumb. Would you like me to send you a document of my last report card? I have a <85% average in all my classes. Please do not be ignorant and assume that just because some people let weed take over their life does not mean EVERYBODY who smokes weed is turned into an idiot.

Weed is actually remarkably close to chemicals that already exist in your brain, not that you knew that. (They're called cannabinoids) It's the fact that it's a gateway drug that worries most people. And also, while you're high, you're more likely to make dumb decisions like driving, which makes it quite dangerous.

I would love to see who gets that warning. Either way, look at many medicines such as morphine. Similar to heroin, but it's legal when used as a PAIN RELIEVER, heroin is used as a RECREATIONAL DRUG. Pretty god-damn huge difference there.
Key word. "similar" heroin is illegal because of the unprecedented amount of chemicals in it that aren't monitored and the way it reacts with your brain. Weed is a plant. Easily monitored, and doesn't react with your brain in any harmful way.
Killa, if I wanted to I could be in sciences at university. That doesn't make you special, just as I am not. Many people can do it. It just takes the willpower and dedication that allows you to do these sort of things.
Why are you questioning my IQ simply because I enjoy smoking some cannabis? More likely to make dumb decisions? Why do those dumb decisions happen? Bad influences; you can be high on weed and simply sit on a couch and enjoy every fucking moment of it.
There is little to no evidence that weed is a gateway drug. If you have any I would love to see it. I would also like to see the study proving that you are more likely to drive.
