Well you'd have to ask @Opalium about a punishment, because you can't really slay for "common" courtesy.
If you were silenced before giving out a warning, you should just avoid doing what you planned until you can warn properly. Warnings should be given early enough before taking action to give your teammates time to react, so even if you were to be silenced it won't matter much in that case.
