I’ve spent damn near a decade earring the points to level up my TTT skills, and now I find out it’s all going down the drain? Can’t I just give a screenshot of my skills screen and then I’m given all the points needed?

while i personally dont participate in the lottery or encourage gambling, i think it adds a wild card factor, especially for new players who are low on points, what i would suggest is capping how much you can pool into it at a time, so chances are more even and you dont have individuals like a certain guy from quebec who always buy up the lottery and hoard millions of points

 

How does adding the lottery stop people who are rich from participating in the lottery? Make it make sense.

You make lottery fair for both rich and poor players by limiting the ammount of tickets that can be bought by one single person, to a certain ammount, by doing so, you let poor people have a fair chance and stop rich people from strongmaning the lottery in their favour, for example if each ticket costs 100 points and you can only buy a max of 5 tickets per person, this means you can as a low level player have similar chances at winning as a high level player because 500 points are fairly easy to grind and the odds are split more evenly across the board

 

But lotteries aren't meant to be fair

 

But how is that going to make it fair if the rich player can still play after winning? By not having a lottery, skill alone would determine how many points you earn and therefore what skills you can buy, yes?

 

points are not determined by skill outside of fun rounds which are also up to chance, you are given 10 points every minute roughly, regardless of your role or rank, what you choose to do with those points is up to you, you can spend em on upgrades, cosmetics, send em to other players, etc What the lottery adds is a way for people with few points to flip their money, albeit at a random chance, but still, rich players can also play however they don't get more of a chance just because they're rich, idk what's so hard to understand

 

Points are earned by playing the game. Player does well = more points. Player does badly = less points.

A lottery muddies the waters. It's unncessary.

 

you can just not enter the lottery, since you say you can do whatever you want with your points
rich people irl have a "higher" chance of winning the lottery since they can afford to buy more entries, just save points and buy a ton of entries if you're so bothered by it
