The chord changes sound nice but clingy sometimes. Otherwise great job. Metronome in the background adds to the "chill" sound
the last 2 years I have been learning how to produce music. gonna release an EP eventually. When released, it will be free to download, as will be most of my music in the future. I've always believed that music should be free to the consumer. I make dubstep and melodic/dubstep with some future bass influences. I'm at the point where I need to learn mixing/mastering, which will take a minute since it's usually the more technical aspect of producing music. check out the rest of my SoundCloud if you like these. my better two dubstep songs https://soundcloud.com/ghoul-d/distance https://soundcloud.com/ghoul-d/shining some indie trippy shit https://soundcloud.com/ghoul-d/interlude
I make all kinds of music, basically I just start and have no clue what I'm gonna do, i'll wing it and just goes with what sounds well. Here's my soundcloud with a wide variety of music: https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1 few of what I believe are the better ones: Spoiler https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/trance-thing-i-think https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/orchestral-videogame-intro-music https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/cinematic-epic-orchestra https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/why...s-its-not-like-anybody-will-listen-to-it-song https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/trap-test https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/sadness https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/the-thing-1 https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/tropical-house-song-thing https://soundcloud.com/forcie-1/wil...-music-the-reflex-stems-re-vision-forcie-edit
We could always do a big collab between all the producers and players, although I've only worked with sample packs so I'd have to get a clean sample to work with, I have no experience with manipulating sounds into sounding differently. If this idea is liked by enough I could set up some basics about who'd send in what, who does what, and we could create an sgm themed song, made by the entire community
links are quoted. anyways, I just like making music for fun. Something that makes it more fun for me is incorporating other peoples ideas/work into my projects so it's like a melting pot of ideas. I might not do anything with your drum tracks, might post them here/soundcloud/youtube, idk. It would just be fun to write over some drums that are made by someone who actually knows how to drum. I produce mostly dubstep but I try to mess with other genres.
I can do percussions/synths/arrangments/writing. I use ableton live 9 with serum/massive. we need someone who can mix/master such as @Deathbyrussian. I like his music, it is written and mixed very deliberately.
Something I should mention, I'm out of the first band I posted completely (Public School). The vocalist is an awful human being and had a huge ego fit during the recording of our EP. He basically took the guitar out of my hands and retracked my parts without my consent. Not only that but he used a vocal centric mix drowning out the rest of the song even though his voice sucks. I'm down to do collabs with y'all. I do vocals, guitar, and ukulele.
Would you like to collab on a riffs compilation, that'd be fun! Exemples of riffs we could do, do you think you could able to play these?: Feel free to hit me up with some songs (because I know not everyone listen to the same stuff I do) if you think the idea is great !
I can 100% play jambi, but I have a soft spot for 46 & 2 when it comes to tool. The stuff I write on the regular sounds similar to deftones with all the dissonance I throw in, so yeah I'll take you up on this.
How lucky are we to meet each other! Yeah sure I also love 46 & 2. Do you have Discord? Feel free to add me @ayygurl#2175
well to the people who are interested in doing a colab, could you please message me on the forums with what you could contribute with and your other strenghts? I'll try to create an idea out of that and coordinate all of our efforts, plus hopefully produce some parts myself! I'll probably create a team message once enough people responded!

Does anyone know the best beginners guide for FL Studio? I am a complete noob who wants to try to create some music of my own but don't have any musical background or any knowledge of how FL works, lol
