@Grazedd and I just going around and carrying the team to victory. lol Also, that team line up was just terrible.
Spoiler: Rusev found a gf. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/page/champion-reveal-illaoi-kraken-priestess
It's on the scale of an ult, tbh. They don't even go into what happens after the person escapes. How long do the tentacles chase after the person? Can you really escape?
Alright, come on.. When was the last broken champion.. Kindred....nvm.. Tahm Kench... nvm... Ekko...well...not so much anymore. Bard! [/s]
I know you're being sarcastic, but ugh, Tahm is not fun at all to play against. He's tanky and has so much cc. Male equivalent of Leona on steroids up or something.
I'd be interested to see how fed Ekko was compared to them, but also. . That had nothing to do with Ekko OP-ness. All four of them stepped on his ulti, three of which were low hp. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. A good Leblanc could probably do the same thing.
I agree with @Han Solo. They should know better than to put themselves there knowing what Ekko does and the fact that they have an indicator right there showing them that he could come back in.
I mean, there are a lot of things to take into account when considering the fight. Thresh and Jinx both have double passive stacks on them, and I'm pretty sure Ekko's ulti pops the stack. Kha and Viktor were already low as it is, and then Yasuo just goes full retard mode and tanks a bunch of turret shots before going back in. There are a lot of things I can't consider, like did they have MR? Was Ekko very fed previously? Those two things could be gamechanging. I guess it's "high plat" but walking right into ekko ulti as a group is just a wacky idea and the primary cause of the pentakill. Do I think Ekko's kit is dumb? yes. I really hate people who can avoid death or become invulnerable ( Fiora, Tahm ). It really messes up the gameplay experience for me. I just don't think their actually overpowered. You know what I think is broken instead? Fizz. Press R, e in and then zhonyas, and bam. Instant pentakill if you hit your ulti. I hate Fizz with a passion.
Would you consider Lux's ult OP? Or Jinx's ult? They can both do hundred's of damage to multiple targets but they're easily avoidable. Ekko's ult is just as avoidable and deals just as much damage. Standing around his ghost because they're hungry was their own fault. A Jinx with 200 health and life steal could easily rocket the clump of players, deleting 2 or 3 of them and then get a movement speed boost to delete the last two. And that's simply with the press of an R down mid lane and 3-4 autos.
I see your point, however disagree to an extent. I think that his ult is mostly balanced, however the fact that regains(at max rank) 200% damage taken in the last x seconds on ult along with its damage is what makes it slightly stronge rthan say jinx or lux. While jinx and lux can aim theirs and each have their own traits they are slightly harder to dodge than ekkos as his is very predictable. In my opinion tho, ekko can do just as much if not more damage than say, lux who does not have mobility. Ekko's kit includes a A 30-60% slow for 2-3 seconds, Another 40% Slow or 2.25s Stun along with a 80-160 +150%AP shield, A dash with a small teleport to any enemy and a massive damage spike, teleport and heal. In comparison to lux who has A 2 second root, An ability that is solely a 80-180 +35%AP shield, a 5 second 20-36% slow and a massive damage spike reliant on passive. Lux is meant to be a ranged burst mage with a decent amount of utility to keep the enemy at bay or dead. Ekko is meant to be a melee burst mage with slightly more utility. Now in my opinion these are poor comparisons as one is melee the other ranged. However, both champions can blow up and or stop targets in their tracks. From personal experience I would say that Ekko does both of those better. EDIT: I will also note that although I find Ekko to be superior in most if not all cases I stick with and prefer Lux. One of the reasons I used these as a comparison was not only because of Opii but because I have played both of them a considerable amount.
fiora has this cool characteristic and mechanical aspect where if u lock her in, the game instantly loads in to the enemy nexus with "Victory"
