I'm kind of liking the whole resistance idea... Maybe like another t weapon called "Flak Armor" that decreases damage from explosives be 15% or 25%. Or a separate upgrade that does the same thing.
I like Average Guy's suggestion of a "flak jacket" upgrade allowing for the traitors (and possibly) detectives to receive a 15% - 25% damage reduction from all explosive damage alike (does not prevent incendiary burn damage or kitchen fires). As for the invulnerability to a harpoon or placed by a traitor, I feel like it may lead to complications, and the coding would just be a migraine for the coder. As much as I understand where you're coming from, and as much as I hate forgetting about a C4 right until it kills me, this may cause quite a few issues in-game. Not a dumb suggestion, might I add, because this would help cut back on the reports filed by traitors asking why their traitor buddy killed them, despite it being the victim's fault he didn't pay attention to the C4 indicator on their screen.
Tell you what, if traitors have immunity to any other traitor item besides the Trip-mine, I'm gonna exploit it to find that one delayer.
