Ok so, I spoke to @Highwon and he feels that we should think the ruling over a bit more, since he and I have been busy and haven't had much time to discuss this seriously.

We're going to look into different ways to approach this, because there are people who are for it and there are those who are against it.

Again, sorry for the delay, but we will have a final ruling VERY SOON.

Yeah guys, I'm really sorry about the delay. Highwon has been extremely busy in his personal life and has really only had time to work on Deathrun when he does have time.

This isn't as simple as "Yeah it is/isn't RDM" we want to really weigh our options and look into different ways to approach this situation in what will cause the least amount of frustration and RDM as possible. For now, just stick with what is has been, which is RDM, and I promise we will come to a decision when us three have time to look into it further.

 

I mean, at this point we are all just joking around. We perfectly well understand that the thread isn't simply being neglected out of sloth or forgetfulness; but rather necessity. I'm also trying to pad my "dumb count", which is working out splendidly.

While I agree this causes suspicion, I think you should have to physically SEE the person doing something traitorous. To KOS someone based on a sound that you feel comes from their position should be considered RDM. Having this KOS allowed would not only discourage Traitors from using the shop, but also cause much more RDM than I'm prepared to play with.

So, I say no. Unless you SEE the person doing a traitorous act, such as wielding a "T weapon", they should be same from being killed.

This does not, however, mean they shouldn't have a suspicion on them. If you do hear this, feel free to call a suspicion on the person you think it came from and watch them to confirm your suspicion. But don't shoot shoot just because you feel their character made a "Traitorous" sound.

Just tell highwon to make it so you don't auto equip weapons bought from the pointshop. That eliminates all forms of detection.

 

That pretty much means that you can't kill people for hearing the buy sound near them
