Did you get caught throwing it down or did the blast kill you? Sometimes if you don't get the right angle, it won't go very far. I once got 10 innos in the 67th way traitor tester room with it though D
I think it works better if you have a corner to hide behind just after you shoot it (which is why shooting it into a room through a door is a good option, as you can run sideways from the door so the blast doesnt get you) Also if you ever get in a pinch without the DB, you can toss down a death station quickly and shoot it with your AK until it blows up. You'll die but you'll at least get the people shooting at you
