Yeah dude I did follow proximity on YouTube, but they don't have music like silent rebel and others share on here and their music is pretty good too. I kind of need new music for the gym, so I really like this thread lol xD

This track is a remixed track from the same album. The original is good, but i heard this version first and it has stuck with me as my preferred version (mostly due to the heavier basslines and the sick dnb in the middle)

This is EDM right? Sounds like dance-pop though

 

Let keep it simple for you, whatever music that make you want to dance is EDM. Pretty sure that why it called dance music.

 

Traditionally, EDM is used to describe dance music using 4/4 beats focusing on upbeat melodies and the use of synthesizers (these qualifications are not absolute, for example, not all EDM uses 4/4 beats). Now a days, the term is applied to any electronic sounding shit, including but not limited to; dubstep, trap, drum and bass, house, chillstep, deep house, disco and nu disco, drumstep, hardstyle, techno, electronica, etc.

 

i don't really listen to EDM anymore, but I used to be all about that shit back when I was a 14 year old dubstep/glitchop producer.
