Can't really argue about not providing evidence, but the same can go right back to you: What have they done that you think is so worth defending? Edit: Honestly, I just don't want to dig through all the porn in my browser history again to find the links I'd pulled up. I have no evidence that proves otherwise. I can look at just about any city in our country and see some severe level of corruption. I can see people who struggle to get by. It does not matter if that city is red or blue. It's the fucking same shit. Show me the success of the Democrats and maybe I'll fucking change my view-point, but I'm looking at the macro scale and I see nothing but support for a bad system. Show me the success of any modern day political move. The wall was fucking bullshit, obama-care failed willingly, the war in the Middle East is just cleaning up the messes we made before, just blame the chinese/russians like we did in the 60's. However, we've been way more socially progressive (or open to the movement of it), but the traditionalists have been strong in their defense for it as well. It's turned into a big left vs right debacle. The rise of a new left has read to a new right as well. Darkness rises and light to meet it. What's the solution? I don't know, we're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Republicans are realizing big government is good, Democrats are infighting big time. idk man
I would say that the ACA for all its flaws was a good step forward. It allowed for people to stay on their parents plan until they were 26, made it so insurance companies couldn't discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions, and it expanded medicaid to millions of americans. Legalizing gay marriage was also a massive achievement that was mostly pushed by the democratic party. There are also small things, like net neutrality. I could probably think of more if I was pressed to. Just saying, It is kind of funny that you thought I couldn't provide examples.

Republicans do the same damn thing, in fact I've lost count of how many times a bible-thumping Republican has blamed any sort of disaster on Gay Rights, Colleges, Reproductive Rights, and the Lack of Prayer in schools. The problem is a lot of the moderates have been pushed out by the hardliners on both sides of the aisle and unfortunately it has gotten worse over the years, especially after Obama was elected in 2008. As for Trump, he can be as corrupt as he wants in office now but it'll bite him and his family in the ass sooner rather than later. Same. I mean in my opinion if you have someone like Dylann Roof who doesn't show remorse or guilt for their actions then you got to put them down like a rabid dog. Speaking of Dylann Roof, I think his execution would serve as an example to those who share the same beliefs as him and/or those who are thinking about committing similar acts of violence against one or more people. In the case of Republicans it's due to religious beliefs more than anything. They believe that life starts at conception when in actuality it starts after the fetus develops brain activity. Also, I'm a guy. I obviously can't get an abortion therefore it's not my call to make whether or not a women chooses to have an abortion and if it's not my call to make it shouldn't be the government's call to make either.
@Pacifist Hey, it was a dick move to call you out like I did. I'm sorry for doing that, and I don't really know why I did. You're doing what you think is best for the right reasons, and the way I'm doing this is basically identical to what most of my dislike for the Left stems from. This is a pointless conversation, I'm probably wrong about one of my primary points against you specifically, and it's especially dumb with how unspecific I'm being. So I'm sorry. Apparently a couple members of congress took small-business loans and unfortunately the full extent of them are unknown. So does anyone want to contest how corrupt this is?
