Trump is a republican, but he is a liberal in the sense of classical liberal not the new extremist, left-wing group thats taken the label liberal. He's definitely not a conservative

Furlough means "Leave of Absence", the republican wants to grant all public employees one week of leave / time off, not go unpaid for 1 month out of the year.

Yes, as a response to the stimulus bill which costed our government over 1 trillion dollars, and to combat the economic gridlock thats being put in place by democratic legislators. While they will go unpaid for one week, they have also recieved stimulus checks which would balance the loss of time. I'd choose one week without work rather than continue to keep jobs shut down until SEPTEMBER as the dems want

We actually talked about this during our Balkan Conference that took part a few weeks ago. It was hard to decide what to do with democrats, but we were able to come up with a solution:

I know this is a waste of my time, considering that any rational person who has more than fridge temp IQ could look at your posts and chalk them up to the ravings of a madman, but fuck it, i'm bored.
I don't know what any of this means. Your main contention seems to be that democrats move? oh my god stop the fucking presses. PEOPLE... MOVE?!?!?!?

It is called political strategy. Of course the democrats want to turn Texas blue. Do you think the republicans don't have their own strategies? The black exit movement was literally a campaign to get black voters to vote red.

The fact that I have to explain this shit to you is actually pretty scary. In order for a political party to exist they need people who will vote for them. More votes = Better chances at power. It is a no fucking brainer. Think about why Republicans will often reject mail in ballots, as they know that they wont win elections if people are able to vote easily, especially young people (who are mostly democrat, and who mostly don't vote).

I don't even blame the republicans for this behavior, because at the end of the day I respect the hustle. Yet, I don't know why i'm being charitable, especially when you weren't.
What. Okay, I'm going to have to fact check this because i'm starting to get some fucking Breitbart vibes from you. Also, I swear to fuck if this is false i'm calling you an Islamophobe lol. Not because i'm an SJW but because it would be funny to watch you squirm.

Ok so I haven't found shit, so I'm going to chalk this up to a conspiracy theory. Provide a source or fuck off. Also, here is some fun shit I found that debunks the whole "she downplayed 9/11" shit: https://www.aljazeera.com/programme...ts-trump-saudi-relations-190716160539559.html

Also for extra shits and giggles:
I had no idea that the Minnesota Department of Education was helping to fund Al-Qaeda and Al-Shabaab. Also, learn to spell numbnuts.
I moved this hear, but it was initially elsewhere. First of all, thanks for calling me uneducated. Second of all, the first amendment (the free speech one) only provides protections from the government. A private organization can infringe upon your first amendment right to free speech, and they don't have any kind of obligations to allow you to speak. It is why twitter can ban you for saying mean things, and why this site can ban you for saying mean things. Yes, they can't do whatever they want, as Adlactor says, they still have to follow FTC and FCC guidelines, which would mean that we can't really run lotteries or giveaways without proper licensing and shit like that. As far as free speech goes though, no private corporation has to respect that right so long as they do not receive governmental funding.
Lol okay bud. It is kind of weird that all the left leaning media agencies have higher factual ratings than the right leaning ones. Fucking weird lol.

No. It says that every month each person will take an unpaid week off. I know that you re-framed it to seem more dramatic, but like, they are not the same fucking thing. Being out of work for an entire month is much different than being out of work for a week. Also, if you actually read further than the start, you'll find it actually doesn't say medical worker at all, it talks specifically about what constitutes a "public employee" and they specifically mean: "A public employee specifically includes an employee of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, the Metropolitan Council, and the governor's office."

This bill has not yet been passed by the way.
This is just projection. First of all, republicans lie like crazy. Just open up politifact for any of the major people in the party.

Here, i'll lend you a hand so you don't have to google anything.

    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/lindsey-graham/
    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/mitch-mcconnell/

    Now let's do the reverse.
    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/barack-obama/
    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/hillary-clinton/
    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/joe-biden/
    https://www.politifact.com/personalities/bernie-sanders/

Are their liars in the democratic party? Absolutely. Lying as a politician is almost second nature. But to say one side is worse than the other is just fucking insane to me.

Regressive policies? Can you name a single regressive policy that the democrats have passed recently? As far as the "a political party that panders to people who feel they have been cheated" I just find that funny. Republicans never do that. They never act like victims. Never. Wait, what about all those speeches Donald Trump gave about Mexicans stealing our jobs? What about all those speeches where he said he would bring back coal? Do you think Donald Trump (someone who has more wealth than anyone I know) actually gives a shit about the average worker? It is quite telling that a political strategy is at play. Of course they are going to pander. Why wouldn't they? It is simple politics. Someone has to vote for the parties, obviously.

The thing about Russia is also hilarious. Donald Trump has gone so far in the opposite direction, he is literally sucking the dick of Putin. Pulled out of an arms treaty, which means now Putin can stockpile nukes again, decided to gtfo of Syria, and has given so much to Putin's propaganda machine. As far as collusion goes? Well, the fact that you guys go on and on about how it was a witch hunt neglects that convictions were actually made from that investigation. Yeah, real people in Trump's campaign and his early white house were convicted from it, simply because they did have contact with a foreign government (which should send up huge fucking alarm bells to anyone who un-ironically cares about the principles and justice systems that built the nation.

Despicable. Anyways, as a non-binary bisexual Hispanic jew democrat, I am going to go continue to suck up my welfare and plot the destruction of America because that turns me on in so many ways. Also, communism is great and your traditions are fucking stupid and overrated. ^c^

I'm sure there are a lot of wealthy people who care about the poor and a lot who don't. I just think it's ridiculous to make such an insane claim.

I'm sorry Paci, but after reading "Also, learn to spell numnuts." I had to spell check your whole wall of text.. Don't tell someone to learn to spell then consistently spell things incorrectly ffs. It's why I don't tell people to learn to spell because I don't give a shit about my spelling, also before you say anything, I'll take a line out of your book "I know this is a waste of my time, considering that any rational person who has more than fridge temp IQ could look at your posts and chalk them up to the ravings of a madman, but fuck it, i'm (I'm) bored." (Oh and there's so much more wrong with your shit that I just stop caring to correct rofl)

One last thing pertaining to the actual post you made, if you're going to say "Absolutely. Lying as a politician (Politician) is almost second nature. But to say one side is worse than the other is just fucking insane to me." please keep the actual neutral mindset or don't try to pretend you aren't biased to one side, you spend your days talking shit to Republicans, stop being a flip floppy fishy fish (No genders here for you)

Thank you for correcting my spelling. You are correct, I am not the best at it. :)

That being said, when the fuck did I ever say I was neutral? What I mean by this, and perhaps I was being a little nice, is that lying as a politician seems to occur regardless of party. Whether or not one party does it more than the other is a little hard to parse, and I would never make that argument because it is really hard to prove.

I think it comes down to a lot of things. First of all, politicians need to be elected, and to be elected they need to speak in general language that has mass appeal. When talking to a crowd you kind of have to be hyperbolic or over simplify things, and sometimes being dishonest can be a natural extension of that. I mean, if you are a politician, you are going to say shit to get elected regardless if they are true or not. Taking advantage of stupidity and laziness is something that politicians are good at. Take the Green New Deal for example. Several people attacked the Green New Deal on grounds that were unfounded, saying that it would ban airplane travel and get rid of cows. In reality, the bill never said any of that, in fact, the bill didn't ban anything. It just established goals to get to net zero carbon emissions by 2030, and that is about it. Who the hell is going to read the fourteen page document though?

To be very clear: I think lying as a politician is kind of fucked. They should be honest. I just think that this is a both sides kind of issue. Also, I think it is pretty obvious where my political allegiance lies :D
