Event Community Night (Game Night 2018)

So Extreme Football Throwdown works as such:

There are two teams, and a ball spawns in the middle of the map. Both teams have to try pick up the ball and either run it, or throw it into the opposing goal. With this main objective in mind, there are a bunch of different weapons and tools that spawn, and you can tackle and hit opposing team members. It can get really fun and intense. If you look at the hyperlink on the first post, you can see a video there.

 

I think Cards against Humanity is a good game to start with.

 

If everything works properly, that will be first.

 

Also when does it start? An hour or two from now?

 

Yup in roughly two hours.

12 PM pst so convert that to whatever you are using time zone wise.

 

So that will be 22h for me, guess I wont be able to join in then.
(Also I count by UTC time zone, I know my timezone is UTC+2)

 

I totally agree, we should also have a game "night" tomorrow at 2-3pm UTC, since it is weekend night I aint gonna be home for that.

 

Damn just had to do dis w/o me...
In a week or so Ill be down for this but i cant this week.

 

Community Night 7/21/18 Recap

I'd like to say the first game night was a success. We definitely had some rough parts, but I think we got a feel for how things should be next time around. I'd like to set up a official rotation of games and maps for next time with your input. Thanks to everyone who came and participated today. It was a blast.

Amount of people who played:
We had well over 20 people for almost all of the game night. I'd say very early on we had around 30 people, possibly more. The game night kept a strong population the entire time.
Time:
It seems like the selected times worked very well for both NA and EU players. NA had a early reasonable time, and EU wasn't set nearly as late as it was in the past. This can still change, but it seems it is working fine for right now.

Pixel will set up the server then the pass word and link to the game will all be linked.
Cards has a maximum of 20 players and 20 spectators.
Since the matches can last 30 to 45 minutes and sometimes longer, it will be up to people playing if they wish to play a second game. If not, then then the next batch of games will move up.

Spoiler: Pictionary/Town of Salem/leftovers

We need to find a pictionary online game that will hold a lot of people. The current ones we have can only hold 7 and 8 max. Town of Salem can only hold 15 people if I am correct, so this is something that can be saved for the end. There's always TF2 servers that we can look into as well. Let me know your input.

This is what I think will work best for future game nights. Of course things can change mid game, and things can always change in general. Also I took all of those screenshots
