I honestly like the idea of being able to block someone. I'm going to have to +1 this idea. It sounds good to me.

 

Even though as staff I can't block people, gonna +1 again anyways. Would be good for people to be able to have this feature.

why would u block somebody. if somebody is rly harassing you you can just report them to the staff

 

That kind of reporting can become incredibly petty incredibly quickly and with how the staff are fed up with the petty reports this can remove the petty arguments by removing the petty person from the forums only for them. Now if the person who is blocking the other is petty, well then the enabler won't enable the petty blocking person to be as petty.

Ignoring only does so much. Blocking does it all.

With how the ignore feature is currently progressing, it might as well be a block. But I think that's unfair. This is when the line needs to be made and the options put out on what you want to do with the person.
