Although I'd love a bhop server, and I'd happily help fund it. Not everyone is as "passionate" about SGM. You need more than to ask for funding, you need some sort of incentive to get people to donate. Otherwise there's not many reasons to donate other than "because we need to fund it." However, my idea is to open up an option to donate for other styles. Like W-Hop, Sideways, Low-Gravity, etc. When you add that with playermodels and other basic pointshop items, I'd say that's a decent enough reason to spend some money on the server. People really like when there's options to how you can bhop, keeps it interesting. Also probably should add a command that allows players to hide other's, because sometimes when venom is constantly speeding past you it's a bit annoying.
Yeah it is a little pointless, but I don't see why not. Just don't overload the server with too many playermodels, as it's clear we only should have a few. I'd say trails are probably more desirable than playermodels on that type of server.
donating for styles is easily the dumbest idea I have ever heard. im sorry but no bhop server in existence does this. all styles should be available to everyone. donating for styles is not an incentive, that would just drive people away. having many different styles, lots of different map choices, and some playermodels is perfectly fine. trails are not needed, but there could be an option to disable them. edit: honestly, what the dr shop has in it is fine for bhop. people like knives, people like models. bhop would easily have consistent players, unlike dr. keep the same stuff, change the gamemode.
playermodels would be great, same with a pointshop idea but thats another thread. most bhop servers have models and these models are usually serverwide across other gamemodes with some exclusive to bhop alone due to hitboxes
that doesn't make sense lol. of fucking course you can make money from a bhop server. You can make money from literally anything by asking people to donate. That's literally why kickstarter and other websites exist. You shifted the point from "it won't make money" to "lol its easy." It's not even your problem if it doesn't make money, lol. No, I'm not going to make my own bhop server. I have a life. Do you get triggered by everything?

I'm not even that good at it tbh, I just gave +1 because it would give this server some variety. you make reports on people for petty stuff almost every week, so yeah, that triggered thing applies WAY MORE to you more than to me. You pay $20 a month for an elite tag, what are you on about "people won't give money"? People donate money to things they want to support. People who like bhop will donate to support bhop. I don't know why you're getting so defensive over the idea.
i'm not literally asking you to create a server, i was giving you a hypothetical to put what you said into perspective, which was: "Is just saying "Donate to fund this server" too complicated?" but what you meant to say was: "People who like bhop will donate to support bhop", which isnt what you said lmao and if you're not triggered then why are you bringing personal insults into this? doesnt help your case, m8 p.s.: i didn't buy my elite, or any ranks since 2014
I didn't say it because it's common sense. If we get a bhop server, all highwon has to do is ask people to donate, and people will donate because they like what they're playing. It may be enough to keep the server running, or it maybe won't. The only way we can really figure it out is if we get one. No clue why you're so against this suggestion.
