As how classic farewells go, here's my choice of song: Spoiler I'd originally written something out very long on Wednesday for this, but it seems to have been lost. I'll try to rewrite the main points, stick with me. Everyone knows who I was back before 2018. I don't believe I need to restate what I've already mentioned plenty of times. If you want to know, I've a farewell from last year, feel free to read that. Moving on, for this tenure that I've managed to stick out, I'm extremely content with myself. My one wish when logging onto the forums for the first time, was to make an impact in SGM, like it had made on me. I can't even begin to think of all the great memories I've made here. I'd like to thank each and everyone of you, that is close to me, not close to me, and even the people that hate me. I never wished for someone to hate me, but if you do, then it's just that, a mutual indifference. I've never wanted anything more than to make friends here. My one aim for this tenure however, and all my staffing tenures, has always been to be that one staff members that is for the community, that talks with it, shares experiences, memes with the regulars. And I'm glad to say that I've managed to do that each and every time. To the staff team, I wish to tell you something; try to be unique. Don't be a staff bot. The community loves and adores staff members that interact with it. If you don't, then you're just one staff member out of the hundreds that have been here. I wish to mention some of the key people that have been important to me in my time at SGM. First, @wink . I'm extremely grateful that you gave me the opportunity to provide an even greater service to SGM that I was previously incapable of doing. I'm sorry that we never really got to talk more than we needed to, you seem like a chill guy. To @Cafedemocha , the admin that gave me not only one, but two chances. Words can't describe how thankful I am to you for making a path for me that lead me to today. To my moderation teams (@ECHOES IN THE NIGHT, @TrinityBlade⚔️, @Spookturnity, @Mr. Peanutbutter, @Ruki, @pekka26, @MrMunkay514™ ) I thank you guys for having to put up with me for how long you did. I may not have been that much of a "father figure" or serious like the other admins (and maybe you wanted that) but that was never my intention in the first place. I wished to be more of a friend to you, and I think I accomplished that.
