Answered Would this be ghosting?

The way i call kos's on people is through chat with the callout binds. So whenever i kos someone, it says in the chat "_____ is a traiter." Alot of people don't see these sometimes and the person i called out walks around like its nothing, so ill spam the callout before i die. SOMETIMES players still don't look at the chat and its super frustrating watching a traitor walk around with an active kos and nobody is doing anything. So today i was playing and called a kos on someone right before i died. They kept walking around and nobody payed attention to my kos. So i messaged my friend telling him to look at the chat, cuz i kosd someone. He warned me to stop talking about it and it could be considered ghosting. So my question is, if i tell players to look at the chat when theyr ignoring my kos, is that ghosting? I'm not supplying any information, since its readily available to every living person with eye balls.

 

Yes, it is ghosting. Another player has been banned before for doing the exact same thing you describe above.

Essentially, you are still changing the outcome of the game while dead, because otherwise the live players would not have seen your call out.

Blind oblivious innos is something we've all raged and come across, but it's part of the game, and it's to the traitors' advantage if the innos on at the time aren't paying attention. Changing this fact from the grave is definitely ghosting.

 

That's what I told Silent Rebel when he told me to check the chat. Now, since he didn't know that it was ghosting, I chose to let him off with a warning and informed him that it was ghosting.

 

Yeah the admins pretty much said the same thing. This can be closed.

 

It's extremely tempting to do it, but if nobody noticed that's just part of the game. Look at the clarifications for ghosting.
