Reason For Report:Gagged for mic spam without me mic spamming. I left at least a 3 second interval in my voice messages it was anything but continuous

Hello "The Rooster",

I issued a warning saying "stop mic spamming or I will start gagging" since everyone was talking over each other and mic spamming with nonsense that was meant to spam the mic like repeating something over and over again, spouting random phrases, etc etc.. Right after I said that, you went on a drone about mic spam where your mic key was held down for 5+ seconds, so I gagged you. Really all there is to it.

Thank you for bringing up your concerns though, your blatantly false report will be heavily considered and scrutinized-- I really appreciate the honest feedback that it provides, and I wish you an absolutely lovely day!

 

I'd just like to say that I gag people that mic spam for three seconds all the time. Screaming, random noises, music ect. Then when I gag them after they stop they throw a fit. If that's what this report is about I think Wolflord was in the right here honestly. You shouldn't be doing any kind of mic spam at all, if so, you will be gagged immediately by a staff member that finds it to be mic spam.

 

Personally, if a player is doing something like blasting their music through a mic, having their mic catching unnecessary sounds, or leaving their mic button on for excessive amounts of time (usually around 3+ seconds), I just gag them as well. It seems that Wolflord is in the right if this is the case. Whenever I've played with Wolflord, he doesn't gag very often, but when he does, it's usually for a good reason.

 

Mic Spam is basically the same thing as regular email spam. They are unwanted or unneeded messages that are being relayed throughout the server. There is no specific amount of time needed between unneeded messages to make them not spam. Our moderators are trusted to carry out punishments in accordance with the MOTD and, by the sounds of it, that is exactly what happened. Just because other players are spamming, does not mean that it is okay for you to spam.

Because you have no evidence to present other than witnesses that you feel could testify on your behalf, I am going to lock this report as it is word vs word and you have not presented any evidence beyond reasonable doubt.
