Answered Why are discombobs kosable?

Only played here for like an hour but discombobs are kosable? that's kind of silly. i mean if its on a map like rooftops, then i'd understand. can someone explain to me WHY its kosable? not just spam me saying its in the rules.

 

Discombobs throw players off buildings, yes, but they also throw around props at very high speeds which can easily kill several people, (for no reason unless you are a traitor).
Don't do this but throwing a discombob in the market on italy and you'll see.

 

Discombobulators are extremely unpredictable. It's easy to get launched off an edge, but like HorseMan stated, they also throw props around. Discombobs can also be used in conjunction with other grenades to make them more lethal(incendiary, for example). Often if you throw a discombob you may accidentally RDM someone unintentionally. Discombob's have a large radius for pushing that even goes through walls, you could throw it in an isolated room and knock someone off a large height at a distance you didn't think it'd hit them from.

 

I'll explain from personal experience. While discombobs don't physically harm, depending on your geographical position, it can easily send you flying and either damage or kill you due to fall damage. Crazy right? But it has happened.

As for prop killing due to discombob, I've never seen it happen, but it is possible.

I got banned for that once in the past because I threw a discombob without knowing that it could kill you.

 

It'd be awesome if discombobs were a RL weapon. I'd LOVE to throw one in a busy office and watch the panic/chaos that would ensue.

Well if the death and such happen so often, then i understand

 

imo - You should know when to kill someone for throwing a discombob.

Like if you're on a flat surface - No props around then you really shouldn't be killing someone for throwing it.

 

It all goes based on player judgement, there are times that i will not kill for a discom throw such as on dust, not really many props in most areas nor many areas you could fly off and die.

Could all please stop saying KOSable? The word you are looking for is TRAITOROUS.

This is as bad as saying attempted RDM.

 

personally i use those words interchangably. if someone does something traitorous, you are allowed to kos them. but its only kosABLE because you dont have to kos them.
