    Chicago gives me about as good of a Ping as I can get with a server based in a Major U.S. City.

    Lol i live 2 hours away from Chicago, no wonder i get so good ping on east.

    East used to be located in Atlanta and was later moved to Chicago which is why it retained the name "East".

    19 hour drive to LA

    From East to West there is a ping difference of 20 for me.
