Answered What is considered "Metagaming?"

  1. So I've heard the term a bunch, and that's half the reason I was banned for 6 weeks.
from what I understood, it's when multiple players ghost to each other. Have I been mislead, or am I missing something here?

Tryna understands the rules and such before my unbanning so I don't get banned for another 6 weeks. :T

in short, metagaming in the context of this game is playing it the opposite way its meant to be played

theres 2 parts to meta gaming :

theres game throwing (intentionally getting t buddies killed by performing t acts near them with the intention of making them "gba" - opening t room doors to let innos in to kill your t buddies ETC)

then theres assisting the opposite team (so as an innocent you could help the traitor(s) kill other innos or as a traitor you could help the innos by leading them to traitors or by giving the innos t weapons to help them out)
also doing something like completing a guaranteed innocent win objective (like the diamond block on b5) would fall in between the 2 categories

punishment depends on severity and its admin discretionary

oh and it wouldn't be another 6 weeks as its one of the ban protocols that do not have a SOL, so it will be second offence regardless of how long until you next (if you do) metagame

Metagaming is a broad group of offenses that usually involve breaking the game. For instance, helping the traitors win as an innocent, giving equipment to innocents as a traitor, and pretty much anything else that falls under that definition.

Usually this is enforced by an admin or higher based upon severity. Normally you will just be warned if it is clear that you are doing it with malicious intent, but it is totally admin discretion. I recommend appealing if you haven't already.
