What game got you into gaming?

So, I was wondering what got everyone into gaming. The first ever game I played was called "Super Mario Bros", this game got me into gaming. Years later, I was introduced to "Youtube" I then found Garry's Mod there. I downloaded Steam and bought the game then countinued to play and find new games.

 

This thread.... seems... so..... familiar..

 

Halo: Combat Evolved

It was probaly the biggest stepping stone for me

 

Sly cooper series, halo 1 and 2, jak and daxter, rachet and clank, spyro, Dragoon (old ass ps1 game, i think its called dragoon), all the dbz budokai fighting games... hmm.. oh my first console was the super nintendo with mario worlds so thats what really started it all.

Pokemon

 

I played the Halo games alot as a kid, but I also put alot of time into Midnight Club: Dub Edition.

 

DANG I forgot about that game. You were missing out if you didn't get the remix version of dub edition. That was one of my favorite racing games ever.

 

Pokemon was mostly like the game that got me into gaming but i might be wrong been too many years for me to remember exactly

Twisted Metal was fun, I miss that game quite a bit.

 

One of the original Tomb Raider games.

I used to get my Dad to play and it watch him. :')

played a lot of n64 with my dad, he almost completed banjoo kazooie, rayman, and donkey kong n64 but he couldn't beat the last bosses on any of these games haha.

 

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on the PS1, family showed me that game and I was beginning my gaming life.

 

Black Hawk Down was the game that got me into gaming. My dad use to be a pro player at the game and was on one of the top 3 teams in the world. I remember sitting behind him watching him play his scrims and practices all the time as a kid.

 

To be blatantly honest, it was The Legend of Zelda for NES.
