I have no idea why I was banned, a new round started and I was banned for 30 days, which has since been bumped up to 56. As far as I know I didn't do anything ban-worthy. Only notable thing that happened was someone asked me if I was bhopping, to which I answered yes.​

Hello @Uterus from Hell! I was the one in game that informed the moderator @AvalonTreman to ban you for hacking. Hacking is a serious offense on the Serious TTT servers, as to why it was a 4 week ban for for the first offense as Avalon explained above:

Now, Bhopping is not THAT big of a game advantage considering you are still able to die and not granted any form of aimbot of wallhacks in any context. But, the Serious TTT servers do not allow for legitimate Bhopping. Our former Lead Administrator had quoted this in the past as seen here:

I was on the server with Thorn, an administrator of the community when I noticed that you were going faster than usual. I then inform Thorn which he leaves to do other things which was perfectly alright. I begin to spectate you and as a Bhopper on wD. Gaming's Deathrun servers I see Bhopping regularly which you were doing. After recording you for a round and informing Avalon, he comes on and records his own recording and then I get permission to ask you if you are using Bhopping to get around the map. You then reply yes and that is when you were banned. That is what happened and @AvalonTreman will present my evidence when it is finished uploading. Thank you for appealing and have a nice day!

There is no way to completely stop bhopping unless you set a max speed that players can reach, like they did in cs:go and cs:s, this does not mean you can't bhop... I also spent a few months playing on bhop servers in cs:s, which is virtually the same thing as bhopping in gmod, and I used scrips for neither. Since there is no chance for an unban, why do players with higher skill levels than other get banned for putting more time and effort into learning ways to improve their game play?

I present the following video evidence. This demo was recording by @King Husky. He provided it to me after the fact so that I may have it in case you did appeal.



As seen here, you were clearly Bhopping. The video evidence also show your admission to it.

As has been said before, none of the STTT servers allow for legitimate bhopping, and this is an intentional measure put in place. You would have needed to run a script in order to accomplish this. The fact that you were bhopping while no one else was around pushes me to believe you knew what you were doing was wrong, but that's neither here nor there.

Due to the evidence against you, your admission to bhopping, both in this appeal, and in-game, and you having no other response or attempts to fight these claims, your ban appeal is DENIED.

In response to your question, TTT is not CS. TTT is not a twitch shooter where you have to be the fastest, or be a perfect shot in order to win. It's about logic, deduction, and killing the traitors before they kill you (without breaking our rules). If you want to play with "players with higher skill levels", I recommend you stray away from TTT, because it does not offer you the experience you desire.

I will be reopening this case.

After viewing the evidence for myself, I personally feel that this is not Bhopping due to hacking/running scripts, but more so Uterus' ability to Bhop.

 

I've discussed this further with 3 admins, and we have come to the conclusion that your Bhopping was not because of scripts. Another admin will be posting further on this. Until then, you have been UNBANNED and your ban has been VOIDED.

Appeal has been ACCEPTED.

 

This video displays @Darktooth "Bhopping" without using any means of hacking, proving that it is indeed possible to do it without hacking on our servers.

I do not believe @Uterus from Hell was hacking, at least from the evidence provided by @AvalonTreman.

 

This was not a case of hacking, simply a misunderstanding.
