Great map, but really laggy. Used to be in rotation but was removed for lag issues. I suggested to books that he try to optimize it, but it's gonna be a while before that happens because of how big of an overhaul that would be along with all the other map edits he has to make.

 

I could do it. All it needs is some "HINT" textures.

 

I miss this map. Really enjoyable. I'd love to see it again.

No, I give this map a -1. The roof of it is a problem. It gives a unfair advantage.

Yep. I opened it up briefly to check it out, hoping it was a quick fix, and the map was literally hell. They tried to implement some optimization, however it was so inconsistently done and incorrect that I would actually have to redo it all from scratch. We're already talking about a map that is A. Giant, and B. Contains water, which are the two biggest things you can do to hurt a map's FPS. It's definitely going to take a lot of LOD work, area portals, cheating draw distances and some trade secrets that I've used on maps like AlphaBeta.

I'll take a look at it again later tonight, maybe I'll pick it up as a side project between bug fixes for the time being. After I completely undo all of the previous optimization, it shouldn't take too long.

 

Get it in a working state before the others and I'll donate $10 worth of rank to you or the person you designate ^_^.

 

Money aside, I've made this a side project. I don't want to just make it barely functioning, but an entire new featured map; more so than what I've recently down with RatsKitchen. There are many aspects of it that could be greatly improved, besides framerate. From dynamic gameflow and t-traps, to the over-all ascetic. I'm not talking about making this a long-term thing, just give me a little bit.

Gonna bump this suggestion as well. Would have made my own new post on this map, but decided to use the search function instead.

Anyways, the nostalgia factor on this map would be huge for anyone that has been around for a while.

 

10/10 Would play TTT again to slide down the slide. (Not even lying)

Sadly it probably wont get added

 

The only problem with this map was the slight fps drop and the issues with some skins appearing shiny. Gameplay was awesome. Actually a challenge for the traitors.
