    I played on the map and it seemed like a good map for vanilla but it doesn't have any of the textures/models packaged into the .bsp file.

    So this is what it looks like with just the bsp file:

    Does this mean it would work on the regular servers? Or just has no textures at all?

    Well it would work if we used it straight from workshop or if we made players download all the models/textures. We don't do either of those things. It's easier for the map author to just package them into the bsp file so we can make our players just download 1 file rather than 100's of files for 1 map.
