This map reportedly used to be in the rotation years ago, but was removed for "being too big and causing delay (even though many maps are much larger, like Nuclear, 67th, etc.)" [1] What makes this map special for me is the fact that it is so damn beautiful, which is a refreshing break from the grim/bloody atmosphere that is frequent on other maps. +1. Good point, Nuclear has to be at least as big as this one, probable larger, and alps is farrrrrr prettier. It's been forced a few times recently, and I thought it was for the most part enjoyed by all.
+1 Large map but we have nuclear :shrug:. I play on a pretty low-end laptop and I was surprised that I was getting decent performance on it as well, usually beautiful large maps like this tank my fps.
I'm playing on this map right now after someone changed the map to it and I can see why people like it so much. It's huge. +1
Seems like a good map, but when some newbie comes on doesn't know the map and gets lost and people start complaining about delay. Meh +1 I guess.
+1 Great map. When I forced it during the event we really didn't have any delaying, even though that could happen. I think that's a minor issue if anything. Also when you guys talk about this and nuclear, I think navigation on this would be much easier. Nuclear is definitely more complicated when finding your way through it. I'm sure delaying wouldn't be as common on this as it is on nuclear.
I'd say the tunnels are comparable to nuclear's very poor navigation. I'm pretty indifferent about this map being added or not. It used to be played a lot in my previous community but it really is mediocre at best.
