Why you should be unbanned:

I killed somebody and left after I died. It seemed as if it was an rdm, butI thought the guy I killed was a traitor, because he was in an area with a dead body. Just prior to this, the area he resided in was said to be a sniper nest, and the innocents recieved fire from that area.​

Also, killing someone because they were "next to an ided body" or because "he was in a location where gunfire was coming from" are NOT valid reasons to kill anyone.

Please brush up on our rules and extended rules why you wait for @ZaneLoehr to respond with his verdict.

 

Ah. My mistake. Though a five day ban is a bit harsh for a first offense in my opinion.

From what I understand, you killed him based on suspicion that he had killed someone in the tower.

Now our rules does not permit killing someone on suspicion so I had to issue a slay on you. I was going to ask you a bit more about the situation but you had already left by that time.
I waited a round for you to come back and you didn't so I issued the ban.

Since this is your first offense, and you have admitted your mistake. Along with the fact that you are relatively new I will be accepting your appeal.
But it will not be voided. If this occurs again, the punishment shall be greater. As my colleague said above, please read the rules of the server to prevent incidents like this in the future.

Also, it helps to ask a staff member if you are clear to leave before you do, if you know there was a report against you.
