has anyone else noticed the dozens of loopholes that allow you to get away with breaking several rules?
Im talking about some rules which are either not defined enough and have some way of "getting by" or rules which on their own have some natural flaw.
Only one i can think of is the unid one. the UNID has to be reasonably in their view, or path of travel to be KOSable
1. Throwing a incind or frag at someone with them not taking damage and shooting back at u giving the person who threw the incind the right to RDM, 2. Traitors getting killed for shooting at RDMers and a legitimate RDMer shooting that T not be given a slay, 3. Assumption that a forgiveness for a gomba stomp is no if the person doesnt respond, 4. Assumption that if two people shooting each other and you (the inno) shoot the inno as a guess resulting in a slay for you, 5. Assumption that the answer is no for forgiveness if you shoot someone on accident and they don't say anything (resulting in a slay for you), 6. The one that Mr Peanbutter just typed in as i was typing this ^^, 7. Mods/Admins being able to make reports on behalf of players who could do the reports themselves, 8. Shooting someone and them shooting back and you killing and reporting them resulting in a slay
1. If the person gets to kill you in self defense, you're just too slow killing him there's no loopholing there 2. Self defense again, do you think you should be just let to kill someone without consequenses, only because they RDM? 3. In this case forgiveness isn't given, thus mods would have no option but to give a slay lol 4. wrong, you can kill people for shooting other people. 5. check 3 6. True 7. This is to make sure rulebreakers are being punished. Why do you consider this as "loopholing" while it's literally the opposite 8. What? Elaborate please
3 and 5 just assume that the answer is no if the person doesnt respond back 8 is basically baiting someone to get slayed
No, if the person doesnt respond, then mods have to give the slay because said person didn't forgive. They don't assume the answer is no. If there is no answer, there is no forgiveness. Also I still don't get what you mean by 8. Shooting towards players is a T act. People don't get slain for killing people doing that.
1- Then don't take so long to kill them? Are you saying that throwing discombobs shouldn't be kosable? If it's an innocent and they damage someone with it they'll get slain anyways and you won't. If they didn't actually hurt anyone then use your discretion on shooting them or not. 2- This implies people have omniscient knowledge of what is happening in the round and everyone's roles at the start and having seen the entire thing start to finish. Kind of hard to do that so while the situation sucks it's not really preventable. The *actual* rdmer will be slain/banned anyways. 3- I don't know what you're trying to say here. 4- Then don't guess? But I"ve literally never seen someone be slain for this so I think it's more of a problem in your head. 5- Stop shooting people and damaging them on accident. Stop assuming forgiveness is the default. Not everyone is going to type out and telegraph their intentions after you damage them. 6- Yeah people do abuse unid'd bodies sometimes but it's hard to prove so /shrug 7- Why is that a problem? I don't understand. If they can report someone for rulebreaking and get a response from the other person's view why wouldn't they? 8- Only the original shooter is going to be slain here, if anyone. The person shooting back isn't breaking any rules. I think 90% of this is just paranoia in your head, not loopholes.
2. Clearly not loopholing. If someone RDMs, whether the victim is a traitor or not, they will get punished 99% of the time if staff are on. It is also up to the traitor to decide whether or not to shoot an RDMer. It may get you killed, especially since you know they are innocent. 3. Also not loopholing. If the player doesn't respond then they don't forgive. It's that simple. I honestly don't see how you could possibly think of this as loopholing. Nobody gains anything from this "rule" and there's really no way to abuse it. 4. All you have to do in your report response is say, "you were shooting at someone." A staff member will check the deathscene and see that they were indeed shooting at someone. 5. Again, if they don't respond how are they going to forgive? 7. This is actually part of the job of being a moderator; to report unreported damage. Usually they do not unless it is making a huge problem, ie mass RDM, toxicity, loopholing, etc. How is this loopholing, exactly? The mods aren't doing anything to get around a certain rule. 8. This is just t-baiting, my guy.
The best way to "loophole" is to rdm as a prop when you're dead, nobody watches for that, the victim can't see your name (if you leave it fast enough) and there is no evidence in the logs/deathscene/anywhere
Loophole: for example on skycraftfinal you can kill a player if he trows a discom/incendary off the edge. That's ridiculous
Sounds to me like you're just another pissed off kid who keeps breaking the rules because he doesn't understand them. Ask the staff questions instead of reporting every little slay. Then again, you were one of the kids shouting nigger in game when the ban was lifted so that might be beyond your comprehension.
I can always find a reason to kill somebody... That is kinda loophole. I Can get a staff member perm banned witbout evidence, how loophole do you want it? But as a previous staff member i will not share with you how you can do these kind of things since i know the ways to catch somebody as well.
I understand the rules just fine. That was really uncalled for by insulting me. HAVE U PLAYED TTT? Theres loopholes in some rules which some people exploit. Also i do not say nigger that often i say it only three times for every idk 4 hour session on the servers. I complain about some slays because after i made the thread about mod abuse i have noticed several mods not hand out deserved slays if im involved and slay me for a little infraction.
I can get the no forgiveness from no response, but what if they are AFK and comeback after you have been slayed and say you are forgiven?
