Why should you be unbanned: I was banned without proof on the grounds of ghosting because I managed to piece together information and killed 7 traitors not five minutes ago.
There were many on the server who were adamant I was not cheating/ghosting while others were shouting in the mic to ban me because of "ghosting"
After two rounds where I was able to kill multiple traitors as the last innocent I was then banned by Nope Trash on the grounds of ghosting, which he had no proof of. For every traitor kill I had enough evidence to back up, but it didn't help that everyone is spamming him with reports saying I rdm'd them without proof.
For example, two people were by an afk detective in a secluded area, I leave to see if they would kill him, and when I returned I found that they have killed him and the detective's body remained unid'd on the ground. I then killed the two traitors while one of them reports me for rdm(??????) Later in the round I killed two more traitors as one of them was called out many times, and they roamed together as a pair. Lastly, I realize not many people were alive so I run away from these 2 traitors hoping I could get them to fire off a shot. When they do start shooting, I manage to outgun them and kill the last 3 traitors in a firefight which THEY started.

The next round, rsancho begins yelling about how I'm a ghoster and I killed all the traitors and that I should be banned. At the end of this round, I killed a traitor (Dark Claws) for not id'ing a body, and another for starting to shoot at me after I killed the first traitor(Dark Claws) I was able to kill dark claws as a traitor because I had heard someone die to an auto shotty right in the area next to me and a scream afterwards, and I asked whomever it was to id the body to no avail, so when I saw dark claws with the auto shotty running out of the building the killing happened, I killed him. Even if this isn't enough proof, it's unreasonable to call me a ghoster instead of slaying me for rdm because there is no proof that I was ghosting

I used to admin on Pub Gaming and played a ton of TTT on several other servers including tectonic and convictgaming, I know how to play the game and if this is how it's going to be, banning me without legitimate proof but rather relying on a few voices on the server, why bother

BTW just because Dark Claws had a shotgun doesn't mean that he killed the guy. That's killing off suspicion. I spectated you for 2 rounds and it was obvious that you were ghosting. Rambo can also vouch for me on this situation, since he was there too.

 

gym bonis actually came in after all of that happened, I did not "rdm" those traitors either, I had reasonable suspicion to kill them, we can argue about it if you give me a specific case. Also, I tried adding you after I was banned to talk but you declined, was that necessary?

 

Most of the t's you killed there was not enough proof to kill them. You killed based on suspicion on most of them. You did look fishy but I don't think we had enough proof for ghosting. I think the ban should be changed to an rdm ban.

 

Alright, but could you give me the specifics of which kills were not allowed, because they were all justified enough for me to kill in all the other servers I've played on

 

If you didn't have enough proof, then the ban should not have been issued. By the sounds of it, he should have been slain a few times, before he was banned for 24 hours.

A few of his stories, if they are true, fall under the guilt by association line; such as one being called out and the other person doing nothing about it.

Other instances were killing on suspicion; like the one with the two people and the unID'd detective and the case of Dark Claws.

The instance where the traitors started shooting you first, would be completely based on the situation at hand; like if they came around the corner and waited to do any damage and you killed them because they didn't help you kill a traitor.

Based on the amount of kills, if the last one went down the way I said, it should be a 5 day ban. If it didn't really go down like that, then it should be a 24 hour ban.

 

For the one with two people, they were literally in a corner of the map where no one else was, I saw the two of them with the unid'd and one of them even stands near it with a magneto stick. In the case of Dark Claws, you could argue I did not have enough proof but it was late in the round where many people are left unid'd which means a majority if not all of the people remaining are traitors, and I felt in that context is enough to kill especially when they don't respond to my requests to id the bodies. The time where they started shooting me, no one was even left on the map afaik and they followed me around the whole place and by that point I just waited for them to shoot me because it was obvious they were going to kill me. On a side note, what sense does it make to not kill people who don't kill traitors? I'm talking about, someone literally blasting someone else, and the guy sees it and does nothing about it, or hanging around someone who has been kos'd and does nothing at all.

EDIT: also, I just want to point out that I received no questions from Nope Trash or any warnings of any sort about rdm from any admin prior to being banned

 

Wait, how would you know that a lot of the players were unID'd/MIA?

 

no one's talking after gunshots, no responses to livechecks while there's still lots of people "alive" on the scoreboard

it's not that hard to figure it out

another point I want to make, no one seems to be using sound to their advantage, I played counter-strike semi competitively before and if you played any iteration of cs, you would know how much information you can use with a proper headset.

 

That's suspicion though. you're not 100% sure they're 'MIA'

There has been obvious clues that possible ghosting has been committed by the responses in this report, and the ban has been changed to 5 days, so you should wait it out now.
