When I'm not actively playing gmod. I go in spectator mode and then AFK. I do not know what I was reported for. But, I was banned for RDM and leave. So, I suspect I was slain and then kicked out of spectator mode?

Please if you can pull up the report and I can give you my side of the story.​

Thank you for taking the time to create a ban appeal for your RDM and leave ban I issued. Ok lets look at what happened.

So apparently, too turnt was pushed by you into the elevator and it caused his death shown in the report. He stated that you pushed him into the elevator and you responded with, "Sorry dude, Didn't know you fly." :

There is all the evidence I have provided for your ban. If you want to add anything, then please do so. We as staff must ban for players who leave with slays on them and for a player like you who is a regular with 1,000+ hours to do this seems a bit extraordinary. I don't know if you had internet problems or you were disconnected but I don't think you were AFK at the time. Although, you may correct me if I am wrong and state what happened if you feel obligated to do so.

For now, I'll wait for your response of your side for what has happened.

When I got back and tabbed back into gmod. I got the, I was banned for 5 days message. If I was in other serious TTT servers(ex. west 2), would that be the first message I see? or would I still be in west 2, and only get that ban message when I switch back to west 1?

Also would manually going into spectator mode make that player has left server message pop-up?

I'm not sure what happened, but unless it's come glitch with messages, then I'll just accept the 5 day ban. Cause my recordings show, I did not lose internet connection and I was afk. I went to sleep during that time when the ban was assigned 5:03AM.

 

Well, the ban was put on West 1 so you can't go to West 1 with the ban on. You can still go on the other servers but not West 1 because of the ban.

You claim that you were AFK when you did this at the time you were on? Seems fishy to say that and also I don't know how it would quit you out of Gmod randomly as AFK. And no going into spectator mode wouldn't cause the player has left to pop up in chat. The only real way for that to pop up is if a player with the slays either leaves the server by the user or disconnects because of Internet problems. I'm not sure where you are going about with this, but that's what I know when the "player has left" shows in chat. If you have anything else to add, please do so. Other than that, I don't know how being AFK would make you leave.

EDIT: If you want to know more about what the bans mean than let me clarify. If you are banned on a server, than you are banned only on that server you were banned on unless it was a Global ban which makes it so you can't go on any other servers. Ok so the ban was put on you on West 1 so you can't go there even if you try hopping there on another server. The ban's time duration must expire before you can go back to the server you were banned on. Bans heavily reflect a players history and they stay on you record permanently unless voided. This is your first offense of RDM and Leave. That's is the necessary information about bans if you are confused. If you have additional questions, then feel obligated to state them now.

 

I almost have 1900 hours on this server. I have had only one ban before this, a karma ban (as a detective). Do you think I would really RDM and Leave?

All, I'm saying is, I remember crowbar pushing that guy into the elevator. I went AFK (to sleep), and that is what my video recording shows. I would've been around 6AM (MST) when I was given the ban.

 

Also, I don't know why would I leave. Cause I left Gmod on before going to bed.

So, unless it's some glitch with messages, then I'll just accept the 5 day ban.

 

Hmm that's really weird.

I know for a fact that what I stated above with the "player has left" message should only pop up with that player leaving or disconnecting with slays on them. So that is weird that it quit you out of the game.

Very, very unusual indeed.
I don't know in any way would being AFK kick you out of the server.

I'll tell you what. Since you are a regular with 1,000+ hours and you feel that this ban was uncalled for and you have no idea why it disconnected you(which I have no clue in this universe why it would) then I can allow you to devise a time when you can serve this slay. You can add me on steam or tell me on here when you want to serve it. If you have any more questions, please add me on steam and if you want me to lift the ban, we can definitely plan a time for you to serve the slay. I decided to cut some slack for you since this is your first offense. Anyways, have a good day and I hope we can do something about this ban soon then.

 

Hello, thanks for understanding my situation. I wouldn't mind the 5 day ban anyways, I need a break from gmod.

I don't really add people I don't know in real life on steam. Sorry.

But, I'm currently in game with Admin BlueCore and Mod Star Wars Holiday Special [HS] in West 2.

I can serve the slay right now in West 2. If you're free.

 

Ok! With having word with @BlueCore that you served the slay on West 2, the ban will be lifted now as soon as Blue has done so. Other than that, your good to go!
