Tasers are broken.

Tasers are broken in the sense when you're tased you ragdoll and die from nothing. A large majority of me being tased is just for fun and then I just stub my toe on the way down and there you go now I'm spectating my friends.

How are they broken? need a little more than just "Durrrr they broked"

 

Ts have at least 2, 3 with the insta-knife separate instant-kills available to them, and dets get a single sort-of instant kill item that isn't 100% guaranteed. I don't see how that's broken.

the majority of the time when you get tazed and go into the ragdoll state any slight touch from an external force kills you wdym "how are they broken" lmao, if you literally stand ontop of someone who is tazed, crouch and walk back and forth a bit they just die, sometimes the ragdoll just fuckin freaks out and you die too

Right, but I reiterate: A single traitor has a minimum of 3 instakills (gauss rifle is 2, harpoon, 4 with insta-knife) and a det has... one, and there are far less dets. I still fail to see how the det being able to effectively instantly kill a single player, which they could do with a well-placed headshot anyway, is broken.

 

It’s not always dying from nth, you sometimes die because you were ragdolled on props, which usually could be used with a magneto stick anyways, i once tazed somebody in the small bathroom stall in community bowling and the person died because of the props in it

 

its not broken bc it gives a detective the chance to essentially "1-hit kill someone" its broken bc it is inherently buggy

 

I've never seen someone use a taser for anything other than memes. Probably a powerful D item if someone uses it seriously though. I'll probably toy around with it more next time i get a chance.

how is the harpoon as inherently buggy/broken as the taser besides the occasional self-kill where you harpoon someone right infront of you? just using the taser on a person has a high chance of completely fucking up

If you stand close enough to a wall you can throw the harpoon through it.

Also, it's buggy but it's fun and it's not buggy in a way that breaks the game.
