In one of the minecraft maps, can't remember the name, there is a T-trap in the center that flashes warnings to other T's after being activated to stand clear of the center or you're gonna die. It's really obvious. My question is: What is the purpose of having that if it is meaningless as a warning. I just got slain because my T-buddy reported me for lack of warning- Why is that not enough? If I had just smacked a non-descriptive T-trap bind, that would have been enough to keep me safe, but that just isn't logical. This person didn't die because I didn't warn, they died because they weren't observant and got salty I lost them their T-round. It wouldn't have made any difference, and have given them less detail.
It shows to everyone. I don’t think it was meant to be a warning but just a simple notification to everyone. It has a noise that plays and a notification on the top right. Most players miss this. The sound is confusing to new players and the notification just adds to the confusion. That’s why the warning provided by the T is needed. Plus regardless of the trap, t traps have always needed to be warned. I doubt this will change because it shows a notification.
