So as many of you can see we get a boat load of suggestions come through the forums..like this! Obviously very few are implemented due to time and testing on Highwon's part, which is completely understandable. Hence why im suggesting we dedicate 1 server, possibly during weekends with new maps and guns on them for either a day or house, and let the community give feedback. This would allow the community to find things in the map that others may not leading to better maps etc.
I personally think that if this idea gets implemented that it should be testing on all servers. That way we don't have a sudden mass exodus to the testing server and people who don't have as good of an internet connection will end up missing out on testing new stuff. Also, staff would be tempted to leave their posts to test the stuff as well. If all the servers test the stuff at once, no one has to worry about missing out either due to a lesser quality internet or being staff working solo on a server. Also, this would give Highwon a much broader sense of how it will work on all the servers, because not everyone has the same connection quality on one server that they do on another (I personally get around 40 ping on West 2 but get 70 or more on the other servers).
I feel this drives new players away. You join a testing server only to find it buggy or play with features you like but soon are removed. The popular suggestions in this forums are looked at and that should remain the case.
Not really, the way it is setup now is that Highwon personally tests the stuff out, tweaks it if it is a weapon/item, then once he is happy with it, he hops on the servers unannounced and says "here. Test this and tell me what you think." If it gets added, I often hear comments like "When was this added? It was tested today? I wish I could have tested it as well." If Highwon picks a time and date to test this content and then lets the community know when he is testing it on the servers, people will be able to get on if they are available and test it and give Highwon a better idea of how the new stuff works out on the servers.
basically Schedule a Mass testing of stuff for like 2-4 hours a day, of just a bunch of new suggestions
yes PLEASE that why just because some people dont get enough notice on threads but then maybe we could get alot of new model/guns/maps love it i think it should be one of the 2 servers
