Why you should be unbanned:

It does not state in the rules that metagaming is against them, i barely know what it is, at the least i should be warned or something, not instantly banned.​

Evidence of Innocence:

So, i was let in the T room, i understand that i should have killed the traitor, but i wanted to have a little fun. I was told it was not meta gaming until he offered me equipment, i then killed him and his buddy and left the T room, yet i was still banned. Like i said, i think i should get a stern warning, slay, or kick for it. Not an instant ban. I come on this server Every day, so getting banned on it make me pretty sad.​

 

Good morning. This appeal may take a little while to deal with, so please be patient. Now, down to business.

It's as you said, you were let into the T room, and did not kill the Traitor who let you in, even though you had the knowledge that he was a Traitor and despite the fact that he offered to buy you T equipment. Metagaming is not something that's taken lightly here, and I will deal with it promptly. Though you did eventually kill him when you found out that what you two were doing was against the rules, that doesn't change the fact of what happened before that. After thinking the situation through, I decided to issue a ban to you as well as him for metagaming.

I will wait for any further defense or information from you.

 

If he did end up killing the T who let him in then I don't think it calls for a metagaming ban. In my opinion. As long as he didn't camp with the T and kill all the T's buddies without harming the T. If he also didn't take any equipment or killed the T right after being offered the equipment I don't think it should have been a ban. An inno can be let into the T room and not kill the other player in fear of losing karma in case the other player is also an inno.

EDIT: Hirari posted while I was typing. Sounds more like metagaming but I feel the ban was hasty and would recommend accepting the appeal.

 

The point, Noctorious, is he was in complete awareness of the fact that the person was a Traitor, in the Traitor room, and did not take action until he was told it was against the rules.

 

Meta gaming in and of itself is helping/assisting the enemy team. Since you were partaking in it you were banned for such. However if this verdict were up to me, I'd deny it. But I will let Hirari give the final verdict.

 

After thinking it over myself and talking with a couple of the other staff members about it, I've decided that I will let you go this time. It was honestly not a ban I would've preferred to give to begin with, but I still feel that it was necessary and I hope that you have learned from this situation. What you describe as "A little fun" is against the rules and game-changing, and will result in a harsher punishment should you do it again. Your appeal is approved and the ban lifted, however it will not be voided. Should you be caught doing this again, it will be treated as second offense. Good day.
