Not to start a huge debate, I'm actually quite interested in your opinions on consoles and PC's. I myself own an 360 and I do have Xbox Live Gold. (Add me: "La Vie1855") I don't classify myself as an PC or Console gamer, I'm more of an hybrid of sorts. Do you own one? What do you hate about the PC/Console? And such and such.
It depends on how you take your stance. For the longest time, consoles outpaced PCs it wasn't really until 1995 and above before PC gaming was a bigger thing (thanks doom!). Then with the power we have pushed in computer it's slowly going higher past consoles. I like playing games on my PC because there's a lot of variety. However nothing beats couch coop (which I hope big picture mode will straight kill on). That's my opinion. This is coming from a guy who owns around 25 consoles
I ultimately prefer PC to any consoles. I do own a PS3 and 360, but I haven't touched them in months.
Okay I think PC's are waaaay better, but consoles are still fun. I own a PS4, and an xbox 360 and have owned a PS3. If I had to pick, i would pick a PC. Better graphics, mods, more user-friendly imo, the choice between keyboard/mouse or controllers, etc.
Let's see... I have an NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Sega Genesis, Wii, PSX-3, 360, and a bunch of silly handhelds like a GameGear and all versions of Gameboys...with a few things I'm forgetting. Much love for consoles because I have a favorite game on each one and they're nice for their own exclusives. (If you want to bring up emulator then get outta hurr.) Consoles and PCs have their pros and cons though. So far only PC con is not knowing what all to upgrade and the fact EA won't give me a new Gears of War key. : < As long as I have games I enjoy I don't really care what I play on.
The only reason why I still get consoles is Nintendo. I own a PC and Nintendo handheld/console. I consider myself a Semi Gamer Hybrid.
