sinoras abuse

Sinora has been constantly harassing me. i try to talk calmly to explain myself but he just breaks out in an angry fit. He thinks i rdmd him and i could barely talk in between him yelling at me to explain myslef. He banned me for mic spam. i sang half of a line from the end music and i get banned. no one has a problem with me but him. I asked everyone on the server if they have problem with me sing half of a line and no one complained. But sinora rushes in and makes sure i get banned. this isn't a ban appeal although i wouldn't mind it. Sinora is being irrational and unfair

I wouldn't say anything i did was harassment. In the case of RDM, we were playing on Rooftops, and a player gets sniped and his body rag dolls over the edge and falls to the floor to the bottom on the map. You then procced to KOS me and end up killing me. Trying to get your side of the story, you lie in your report about me being near an unid, since the body had rag dolled over the edge about 100 feet in front of me. I dislike liers when it comes to reports, and so I cut you off due to the fact that what you did was RDM and were trying to get out of your slay. You then proceeded to harass me, so i issued a gag, warned you, and then ungaged you.

On another map, Megatron proceeded to gag you as well, for being disrespectful to another player, for one round. After the round you were ungaged. You then started singing lyrics from the end round songs. Even though i didn't have, i warned you that singing is considered mic spam, and your next case of it was a ban. You said to me that you were sorry and would stop singing. This is also when i took a look at your admin stats and saw that Pop Star had ban you TODAY for the same reason. So asking Thxforthefish, he said that your next ban length was to be doubled, to 16 hours.

We end our story on Island. Every round you started singing the end round song again, just a couple lines this time. But you did it every round. I had already warned you, and since you took my warning and threw it out the window, I issued the 16 hour ban as per our MOTD and an admin telling me to extend the 8 hour ban to a 16 hour ban. Also, right before i banned you, you called me a douche. So again there is Harassment coming from you a 3rd time. And when you asked players if they cared about your singing, it doesn't matter. What you did was mic spam, and as a mod of this server, I will uphold our rules. You broke the mic spam/harassment rules, and now you are paying the price.

As for a apeal, It has been Denied. I will leave this unlocked for any further comments as necessary.

 

By the sounds of it, the staff were not the ones being irrational.

 

what it looks like in my eyes, Sinora followed our protocol, got clarification with another admin as well, which he doesn't have to do and banned you accordingly.

I was also here but left before press was banned. Sinora, on rooftops you weren't acting very mature. You were cutting him off every time he tried to talk, and told him to shut up. Even if he was lying, you shouldn't talk to a player that way. MegatroN and I both agreed that you could've handled that better. Although he did rdm you, you should never be aggressive towards a player.

 

Nope, I never said shut up. I actually never said for him to stop talking. I would just talk over him. And like i said in game, the tone of my voice and the speed of which i was speaking at could be misconstrued as Hasty and Un-mature, But I believe I handle the situation as i should, but i will agree that i should have calmed the sound of my voice so I didn't come out as being a "Pissed off mod trying to get revenge". So i will Apologize for the sound of my voice.

I feel, that [MD] Sinora did good. I was just surprised by his pitch of voice with the player. But I understand why, it was because he was talking over him and usually ONE person should talk at a time and wait for the other person to finish. THEN they can start talking. I say this because I felt that Sinora was getting a bit angered, but he kept his cool and followed protocol and banned you for 16 hours, Nuke.

Hopefully you've learned your lesson, and hopefully you won't disrespect, nor mic spam in the server.
