If someone asks you to kill them it shouldn't be considered RDM.

I believe that if they are just friends shooting each other in the face, it should be taken no differently than two people crowbar fighting. Your friend even said that he stated, "Shoot me in the face, but you're not allowed."

He clearly stated shoot me in the face... Don't shoot me in the face... Shoot me in the face.... shoot me in the face... shoot me in the face

Yes, but do you think I should let RDM slide? What happens if a new player comes on and sees you do it so they think it is okay? I understand that you guys are friends and this is Serious TTT, but all that was was an agreed upon RDM. It was at the beginning of the match; if he really wanted to die, he could have typed kill into the console. Just because both players agree to one person killing the other for no reason at all doesn't make it okay; I treated it the same as crowbar fighting and prop fighting.

I just feel that it creates a basis for an atmosphere which condones RDM. Both of you were innocent, if you were a T or he did something traitorous, I would have been fine with it, but it was at the beginning of the round; over 90% of the players were still alive.

I would have left it up to Dominic, if you killing him were an accident, but it wasn't. You randomly decided to shoot and kill and player for no reason.

It wasn't random, If he said shoot him in the face the guy was expecting it. And prop fighting and crowbar fighting have nothing to do with shooting someone in the face with a gun when asked too.

If two people were to agree to a crowbar fight and they start whacking it out on each other, I'd slay them both. If one person were to agree to being shot in the face, I'd slay the one who shot him.

Rule 12. is in place to prevent people from starting RDM chains and getting into the mindset they're allowed to RDM if they have permission from the victim. That's why in some cases even if the victim forgives the attacker we don't remove the slay. Admins are allowed more flexibility with the rules, and therefore can make more exceptions. If you want to kill a friend and get away with it, make sure you have a good reason(traitorbaiting?) that's legit.

If someone kills there friend then they are taking there on risk to get killed if it creates a Rdm chain then you slay if it doesn't you don't slay

You're not at liberty to state how a rule works or how it doesn't. Regardless of what results from the random kill, if a staff feels the player should be slain they're at liberty to slay. There is no "if RDM chain then" clause.

I thought you were suggesting a rule. Never realize there was a new rule that says that.

I feel like it gos both ways but for someone to tell you or anyone else to shoot them should be there fault since they are commanding it..... But I guess I understand what your saying Mango

It might be a bad habit from me, but if someone wants to be killed for whatever reason and does not do it repeatedly times I dont take action. If he keep doing it I warn him and then proceed to slay the person who asks to be killed. If you want to be killed just say you are a t. Its a different story for crowbar fighting, in my opinion that just makes the game less serious and less fun for ts.

For future reference, if a player voluntarily asks to be killed by another player it should be considered in the same light as a crowbar fight. There was no reason within the parameters of the game to kill that player therefore the kill is considered RDM. Like was said before, if you want to get yourself killed you can give players a reason. Say "Hey! I killed a Detective!" or just type kill in the console and expedite the process. The reason has been stated before. We want to avoid RDM chains and people forgiving their friends every time they RDM. I have to say, 99% of the time if I end up wrongfully killing someone, I am forgiven. How would the server look if I just decided to accept them and never slay myself?
