As it stands, prop surfing is allowed as long as you're visible and not prop surfing to a location in which no one can reach you. However, this can be abused during the Hidden rounds. If you prop surf to the top of a large enough map and stay there, even visible to everyone, the Hidden cannot kill you because the Hidden doesn't have a ranged weapon that can actually hurt you. I think that's rather unsporting and unfair to the Hidden.
Alert the staff via adminchat (type @ at the beginning of your message) or record them and report them if they delay the round.
Then that sounds like the moderator/admin failed to do their duty and this is something that should be discussed with the staff.
Staff already should take action for this. As La Vie said, its delaying the round. When a player is caught in a location that is unreachable for the hidden, the player should be moved.
Okay then, someone should tell DarkLegion that. He was the mod online at the time I think then asked for the video of the player doing it, since he said it wasn't allowed. So that's why I made the post.
I mean, with the right kinda platforming and the hidden's super jump, uh out can make it to most places.
If the hidden could throw the knife similar to the murder gamemode (where it leaves a smoke trail and you have to find the knife or wait a cooldown time to spawn in your hand again) it could help with this problem
In the case of where I had asked you for the video was very specific, as it was with someone who was notorious for doing these sorts of actions and has been warned for it before. The reason I had not moved him as soon as it happened was because I wanted to be sure that I had evidence of it to show an admin. If this had not been the case he would have been moved immediately as it is delaying.
I was the one who asked @DarkLegion to withhold the punishment and gather evidence to add to a long history of the player doing it. Usually like he said, it would be dealt with instantly.
This isn't a case of delaying the round it's a case of the Hidden being able to reach the player. So yes I agree, prop surfing during a hidden round should be illegal.
