So the idea was posted (http://www.seriousttt.com/threads/i...cs_assault-sandbox-edition.21282/#post-183364) that cs_assault be revised so that the rooftop area to the left of the train depot is more easily/officially accessible. I offered to do it.

It was suggested that I make a suggestion here and ask for admin approval before I do so, and to ensure that the revised map will be added into the rotation. If an admin gives me the OK, I'll do it.

Personally I like how it is.

I see it as a risk and reward. If you miss one of the jumps you will most likely loose a good deal of health or die, and if you make it then that's good for you

It's not even too difficult to make it right now. All you need to do is just jump or strafe around the fence posts. I don't see this as a problem that needs fixing

Are you talking about how he posted his version as a GMS? Because if you are, yes, that's impossible.
I see that as more of a template as to what it should look like. I'd officially revise the map in hammer and add an easier and more logically correct way to get to the rooftop.

You're free to make edits / changes and then propose them to be added to the servers. As is anyone.

The only thing to keep in mind is that @Highwon approves map changes to the servers. The lead admins have some influence as well, but ultimately, Highwon has access to server files etc.

Also, in the past, some changes have been done that never really made it into production. The main reason this has happened (that I've observed) is because extra unnecessary things were added. For example, guns that were never there in the past, or extra traps. With this case, it's also important to remember that the communities opinion will weigh in heavily, Tinbuster being example #1.

Alright then, I'll get to work on it. I should be able to have a revision out within the next week or so.

    Request to lock the thread.
