I get frustrated not knowing if my report has been looked at, and if it has, why it did not result in a slay.
Would it be possible for mods/admins to fill out a simple pop up explaining why the person wasn't doing anything wrong, and once they submit it, it shows it to us? Maybe even with the other person's response to our report too?

    Thanks,
    Richard

You should recieve a message saying your report is being looked at

  3. When a moderator is checking out a report they may put it in progress wich sends out a message to the player creating the report saying that the "we are currently investigating your report, please be patient."

now if the moderator is the only staff members they don't always do that, so you shouldn't be counting on the message to appear with every report you send.

If the player dosn't get slained and you think it was clearly rdm you can always ask the player you reported to hear his response incase it was walking past unid wich is hard sometimes to know if you aren't paying attention to the ground.

if you still think he's lying and really did rdm you, then you shouldnt be to upset since if he is a rdmer he will surely rdm again and get punnished for it, or if it was a complete accident then it's much better to leave him unpunnished instead of punnishing him and it turns out he didnt rdm. (Better a thousand guilty men go free than one innocent be imprisoned)--> ofcourse we dont let thousands of players get away with rdm ^^

Going off of what Tail said, if someone reported ends up not getting slain, I usually do my best to notify the reporter on why the person is not being slain. This isn't always possible due to the fact that at times, we can have 5+ reports coming in at us at once, and we end up having to direct our attention to that instead.

If you ever want to know why someone you reported isn't being slain, you can always send the player a message yourself asking why they killed you, or toss a pm to a staff member asking why. I get a few people asking me for the other person's response to the report, and 90% of the time I try and give them a response, provided I'm not dealing with another issue at the same time. Personally, it's not a problem at all for me to give you the reason on why someone's not being slain as long as there's no hassle, and I'm sure the majority of our staff would also be willing to notify you as well.

A lot of people always bug me about the reports, but the time it would take to implement this new "you're report has been finished" response is not worth it, considering they can just ask, and we will tell them

I'd say about 75% of reports turn out to be not RDM and the reported player ends up not being slain. If we had this message pop up to all players who made reports it would add to the already hefty workload of looking at reports because players would always want to know why their report was invalid.
