Invalid Report against Toxin

Reason For Report:

So it all started when Toxin was making a bet with people that on the map Ford Marine people couldn't jump down the map without dying and he said that if you could do it you get 1000 points. A few people did it, including me, but I used a teleporter so he didn't that I should receive points. So I was like well I think I deserve my points, I did what he asked so I should get my points. So I kept asking him for my points then he started getting mad at me telling me that I "cheated" and i "don't deserve the points". Well I was like alright. Then a few rounds later i saw him with a riot shield on so I started hitting his riot shield with my crowbar, not trying to damage him or anything, then he switched to his gun, and after I hit him he shot me and killed me, it was as if he was trying to get back at me. Then I called him an asshole because I thought that he was purpously doing that to kill me. Then he informed me it was a rule that you cannot hit a detectives shield, so i was like alright, but then I was trying to say my side of the story and he kept interrupting me and telling me to "calm down" over and over again even when I wasn't talking and wouldn't even give me a chance to speak. Then I said he said that if I talked or harrassed him again he would kick me. Now that part really ticked me. He was threatening to ban me for calling him an asshole.... once... because of a rule I didn't know existed.​

It seems Toxin was right here. Bets and non-enforceable by staff, if you called him an asshole, it can be considered as harrassment, but @Toxin will respond at his earliest convenience

 

You still damaged him with your crowbar.... the moment you did that, he had the full rights to kill you. This is NOT RDM, but I will leave it up to @Toxin's admin, @Opii , to finish this debate off.

I had killed you because you began to purposely crowbar my shield (I was a detective) and damaged me when I switched weapons.
I was under the impression that you were trying to hurt me with a crowbar when you began swinging.

Then, when I had told you that hitting a detective's shield with a weapon is traitorous, you told me if I had "pulled that rule out of my ass", then called me an asshole, a couple of times in the dolls map, then a couple more times when the map changed to assault. This is when I had told you to please stop the harassment, in which you responded "You're on a power trip".

I was trying to calm you down because you seemed upset that I had killed you, which was why I explained it to you. You claim that I did not give you a chance to speak, yet I waited and you kept saying "Are you going to let me talk?" as if I never gave you a chance.

Hello and thank you for making a report. The mod in question, @Toxin, had the right to kill you once you had damaged him with a crowbar. Causing any amount of damage to another player is KOSable and they do have the right to retaliate/kill you for any amount of damage you have caused them.

From your report, it seems that you had harassed Toxin for the points that you believed you deserve.

This sort of behavior is considered harassment and it does make it harder for Mods to moderate the server and handle reports. Toxin had warned you as you mentioned in your report and as he mentioned in his reply. He did not threaten to ban you, only kick you from the server.

As for the bet, they are not enforceable by staff. The player making the bet/challenge has the right to set his own standards for what he believes is completing the challenge. The player, Toxin in this case, did not believe that you had completed the challenge/bet according to his standards and thus, did not award you the 1,000 points.

I do not believe that Toxin in any way abused his powers or defied protocol in any way. This report has been found invalid.
