RDM and Leave (with mod on)

I had just killed Cheeky because they attempted to throw a harpoon at me. I IDed their body, and was confirmed as an innocent. A minute passes and I stay around the same area, when TerrariaGaming shows up. I drop the body, and tell them I killed them (over voice chat, my software isn't set to record my voice). They then proceeded to kill me, I tried to retaliate but failed. They then left the server soon after.​

You showed a video of you RDMing cheeky lol you didn't see him throw that....

 

Common sense rule in this case. I could hear the sound, and saw the trajectory of the harpoon. There was no one else around but them that could have thrown that.

 

From the video it definitely does seem like RDM. The body you dropped in front of the detective was an IDed traitor's body, which I assume you were offering him to either for him to grab the credits or get the DNA to prove that you had killed him.

However, the kill on Cheeky was most definitely a kill on suspicion. That map, from your position, has a bridge located behind you. A traitor could have dropped down from the t-room (you wouldn't be able to see that due to it being underneath and behind you) and then tried to harpoon you by throwing it over the little mountain behind you. You did not see Cheeky throw the harpoon and the trajectory of the harpoon could have well looked like that if it was thrown at you from that location on the bridge.
