Reason For Report:

He was ignoring all reports even tho he was online and playing the game. I told him in chat that he shouldn't ignore reports and for him to do his job. So he decided to gag me for "Annoying/Bothering" him. (Picture: http://imgur.com/yAvUbwh)

I don't believe that is the grounds he gagged you on, rather than an accidental gag. At the time, there was a player with a very similar name that you can see I gagged, but Shadow accidentally gagged you instead. Nonetheless, @Shadow6767 will respond at his earliest convenience.

 

Hello there and thank you for taking your time to make this report. I will tag my admin @The Law so he can take a look. I'm going to explain to you everything. This report seems to be a simple misunderstanding.

Explanation:
I was on Vanilla with CDriscoll, when someone decided to mic spam. I accidentally gagged you, instead of the mic spammer since you have very close names. If you look in the screenshot you provided, At the time time CDriscoll gagged someone else as well, that's who i meant to gag. You see, i didn't gag you for the reason you mentioned, and this was a complete accident, and my greatest apologies. However, i would like to mention you were immediately ungagged afterwords, and you weren't even using a mic to begin with, so i don't see the big deal. Now regarding me ignoring reports, I was not. You see, on Vanilla we get a lot of reports and such, therefore we are really busy. If someone was not slain, that means the report was found invalid, not that it was ignored. There is also a possibility due to the amount of reports, it wasn't gotten to quite yet, if that is the case you need to be patient. I never saw you say anything to me about ignoring reports, so I'm sorry about that since it was late at night and i had a few things going on at once.

That is all I really have to say. CDriscoll if you have something to add, feel free.

 

That's pretty much all that happened. As for the reports, there were times when I would go afk to get something and shadow would continue playing instead of dealing with them as they piled up, but in the end they were all caught up. I hope you understand what happened with the gag, and that it was the mistake of one letter that made it target you instead. The Law will finish this thread up, and we will wait patiently till then.


I would also like to note, I did not encourage you to report, but I have you the necessary information to do so.

 

Staff are not required to tell you the outcome of a report (e.g. if they were punished or not) so it may seem like if the player you thought RDM'd you did not get slain that the staff weren't handling it. It's likely they simply deemed it as not RDM. If you would like to inquire about the status of your report, using adminchat is your best bet since the text is bright and green and easy for us to spot. You can talk in adminchat by typing an @ before your message, for example: @What's the status on my report?

It would show up as:

You to Admins: What's the status on my report?

As you can see, it would be very easy to spot outside of regular chat.

 

By the evidence given, this report would seem invalid. However, I will let @The Law take care of this.

 

The gag itself was a simple misunderstanding. There was a player with a similar name who was mic spamming, and you were accidentally gagged. No further action needs to be taken here.

Often times reports will be built up and may take longer to complete so you must always remain patient. Additionally once a report is looked into, it's marked as either RDM in which case punishment is given, or it's marked as not RDM in which case no punishment is given. In the future if you're curious on the verdict or progress of your report then you may simply ask in admin chat.
