Completed Report against Makuzi

Sorry for not getting back to this earlier, I forgot about it while dealing with other forum stuff o.o

Now lets get into it.

This is the first point under the GBA rules in the extended rules (and the only point important to this case):
"1. A player is GBA if they are found to be witnessing or able to witness another player commit a traitorous act and not attempting to take action against said players by calling them out or attacking them, as long as the situation gives them a reasonable opportunity to react."

I have highlighted the part of the rule that is important to notice. I will get back to the rule in a bit.

For easier explanation when talking about the deathscene Green is the guy you killed, Blue is the guy that shot you, and Red is you.

So as we see in the deathscene, Blue opens fire at you, Green does not imediately notice them shooting, he then turns to see that Blue is shooting, but shooting in itself is not a T act, so he doesnt witness a T act at first, if he had acted on the shooting, it would have been RDM as he was not aware if they were shooting at a player or not. At that given time 2 of the 3 seconds had already passed, during the last second he gets behind Blue, at an angle where he can see that Blue, is actally shooting at you. But before he has a chance to react to Blue shooting you (not to mention that you at this point is hiding behind cover in a spot where you can barely be noticed by Green) You shoot him in the face within the last second, before he could react to the T-act that he now witnessed.

So in the end I would agree with my Moderator on the slay given. As you in the situation, didnt give the player a reasonable time or opportunity to react to a T act that they technically first witnessed within the last second before you killed them instead of killing the guy that was actually shooting you.

Based on this, I will be marking this report against @Makuzi Invalid, as it is an iffy situation, but he judged it well in my opinion.

I have read over this report and have decided that it has received an incorrect conclusion.

First, let's break down the meat of Makuzi's response.

The first highlighted part I'll get into in the next section. First we'll talk about the last line there. The way we staff handle GBA cases is that if the "Victim" of a report can turn 360 degrees and witness the Traitorous Act, they can be considered Guilty By Association. Bearing this in mind, Gulp could have witnessed the traitorous act of RapidMac shooting DiscHQ.

As for time, I firmly believe he had plenty of time to react to the situation he was in. TTT is a fast-paced game, and these scenarios play out all the time, even in my own gameplay. As such, I entirely disagree with the conclusion set by Voca.

Gulp saw RapidMac shooting DiscHQ, and had enough time to react to it as well.

DiscHQ made a valid kill, and should not have been slain.

I will be marking this report as Valid against Makuzi, and a slay will be issued to him when I am next on for the False Slay.
