Reason For Report:

We were in ampster vill. I was standing next to a building when I heard a shotgun blast, followed by a death noise, I turn around and see a player come out with a shotgun. nobody else came out of the building, and it's not one of the buildings with secret entrances. I went into the building to find a dead body and nobody else in there. I proceeded to call KOS on the player.

That player was very strongly felt that I KOS'd him on sus (even though he was the only one to leave the room) I told him if he felt so strongly about it, to report me for the KOS.

Apparently Lord Raisins decided to side with the player and slay me. This seems incredibly odd considering there should not be enough information for the admin to slay me and simply went on "the players word".

As most of you know, If I feel wronged, I get pretty pissed off. Oh yeah after I was slayed, the player said "enjoy your slay asshole" . Not that my name was Asshole Radar at the time but yeah.

I feel that Lord Raisins shouldn't jump the gun so quickly to slay somebody based on somebodies word. With that logic I can come out of any building I want and report anybody who KOSs me because I walked out of a building that had an unid'd.​

According to the logs, and the both parties' responses, you killed on suspicion. You did not witness the player you killed killing someone, and only went on a whim and guess that they did it, because they just happened to have been killed by a shotgun nearby. Your response even verifies that you didn't witness the death, even more so, you claimed to have even been facing the wrong direction.

 

I'm pretty sure based on many different events that if somebody comes out of a dead end area, and there was a dead body there, even ignoring what wepon killed them, they STILL passed an unid'd which is enough as it is for reason to kill, let alone the fact that I heard the death followed by lala leaving the scene of the crime.

 

The logs never showed you identifying a body, other than Lala's body, nor was an unIDed body ever mentioned in the report. You claimed to have killed Lala because you thought you heard them kill someone.

 

From Swag's explanation, it's a legitimate kill, however it appears he did not give Lord Raisins the full story/details, which is why the slay was given. Swagsweeper if you're reported for RDM, it's in your best interest to provide as many details as possible when responding to a report. If you need more time, message the mod and he will gladly give you more time to fill out the report.

 

Well, it is clear that this might have just been a miscommunication. Swag seems to have made a legit kill, but perhaps could have provided more details. Lord Raisins then went off of what he saw from both players side of the report, and made as accurate of a decision he could have. However, he should have asked questions from both of you if he was unsure, and I'll be sure that he does that more effectively in the future. Thanks!
