Invalid Report against French Toast

Reason For Report:

Some guy threw a discombob on hotel into the pool, which is KOS'able. I('m pretty sure) I put away any gun I had and followed the body into the pool to ID it to see if the guy was inno or traitor, he was inno. French Toast rushes into the room and guns me down immediately. He handles the report himself, which is a conflict of interest, (even with him being the only mod on) and says "killing someone is kos" or some bullshit. Of course, he doesn't slay himself. A few minutes later the map switched to mineshaft. This is my first or second time playing the map so I'm a bit disoriented, don't really know where to go, I wander around not seeing anyone, not knowing where the tester is when someone starts shooting me with an AK from behind. This guy must have been a terrible shot, because he wastes a mag and I'm not dead. I kill him, he was a T, I start to type in chat "I'm proven I killed ej" when some random guy runs into the room, sees me standing near an ID'd body, and RDM's me. Obviously I reported him as he had no reason to kill me. French Toast was still the only mod on and despite this BLATANT RDM French Toast doesn't slay my killer. Unless I have a colossal misunderstanding of the rules of TTT and the rules of the server he doesn't know what's up.​

On MC motel I received this report against me after killing you.

As you can see by the logs, you were shooting an innocent player. This is traitorous, so I shot and killed you for it. It doesn't matter if you were killing someone for a valid reason, all I saw from my perspective was you shooting and killing another player. There's not much more that really needs to be said about that portion.

For the next instance, I received this report.

As you can see by the logs below the report, sweeney214 damaged you 5 seconds after you identified the body of a traitor. You were indeed proven, but since he shot you within 5 seconds of you identifying the traitor body, I did not slay him for it.

I hope that cleared everything up a bit. One other thing to note is that me handling the report against myself is not a "conflict of interest." At the time, there were no other staff members on vanilla, so I handled that report. If there had been another moderator, I would have let them handle it.

I apologize if you've felt inconvenienced by my moderator, but as explained above she was right in the verdicts of both reports.

For the first report, you had killed the player Aly for throwing a discombobulator which is a traitorous act. French then saw that you had killed Aly (an innocent) and killed you for it. Even though you had killed the player for a valid reason, you yourself committed a traitorous act at the same time by killing an innocent. The way our rules work is that despite your reason for doing so, you can still be kos'ed for killing a player even if they themselves did a traitorous act too. As for the second report, the player sweeney killed you for killing someone (which is kosable). As French posted, there's a five second grace period inbetween you id'ing the body of the traitor you killed and a person killing you.
