dont care about the rdm anymore, to start

context:

inno motel, i end up next to the traitor entrance in the bathroom, looking at a body for the info.

onion wizard kills me, for what I assume to be because he thinks I'm going into the T room.

that's rdm. he killed me based off of the assumption that i'm going into a t room. which i can see, but i'm very obviously not. you can see the door opening close to under me in the picture,

as you can tell, not in the t room, nor even partially in the entrance

now here's the problem.

that was the final round of that map, and a tmod is being trained. i get it, they cant get to the ds fast enough to watch it/record it whatever

however, now that makes the report wvw (word versus word if for some reason you dont know what that is)

my report word for word:
so you killed me for? i wasn't in the t room, nor was that body unided

and you've seen onion's response. his response reeks of kos on sus, the sus being that it looked like i was going into the t room.

there ended up being no slay on onion for rdm, and my adminchat message went ignored.

the moderation of the server is going downhill, and that's only contributing to its slow death. i've already had another instance of a mod not even looking into the background of a kill that was reported, which i'm 99% sure is something you're supposed to do for reports, even if there's nothing in the report/response. i killed someone because they shot me and i shot back but won, and they reported me for it. when i responded with some erroneous response, i was given an auto slay for the very much valid kill

if there's even an ounce of support for "if you don't put a valid response defending yourself, then we have nothing to look for", that's remarkably stupid. reports don't just go straight to WvW unless there's no ds, and that one report i'm speaking about 100% had ds.

the reason there's two reported people here is because i don't know who made the call. if pumpking did, then they're teaching incorrectly and will lead to bad decisions. if munkay did, then they're already taught incorrectly, and its supposed to be upper management (aka the mod who's training munkay right now) to correct him, which there was not.​

It wasn't sus lad it looked like you were going into the T-Room. Why bother even being this petty anyway lmfao? Disgusting petty fourmer.

 

Btw the T-Room open right as you were going over it. You didn't see that, but I did.

 

Carved is actually one of the cool staff guys, don't lynch him for something when he couldn't even do anything about the situation. He couldn't have even seen the deathscene since the map changed. Plus, you are wrong anyway and refuse to admit it.

 

Anyway, I the Deathscene wouldn't of made a difference we couldn't see if the door opened or not. If you have recordings please show me what happened. If there are none Weiss was in the right for it because it was RDM on suspicion. Its only traitorous if Weiss was already falling into the t room or just coming out of the doors, not being near a trapdoor

 

@Weiss thank you for reporting me this on this fine morning, so ill just go into it.

As you stated above - "and a tmod is being trained. i get it, they cant get to the ds fast enough to watch it/record it whatever" you are right, I was not able to see the DS and see if Onion Wizard had the right idea of killing you. and when I looked onto the report the map changed and couldn't view it which, so I put it as WvW and the mod who was training me at the time did not correct me on this so I didn't put another thought into it.


So here I guess I would say my conclusion might in fact be wrong if we ignore the DS, as for if Onion Wizard Murdered you because the T room opened up and killed you because "looked like you were going into the t room" then I would say this is RDM and you would be right, Because the rules do state

And if you in fact did not go into the T Room then again this would be RDM, but I wasn't able to get to the DS in time and see wither this was true or not my apologies.

 

With this situation, I’m a firm believer of “Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgernades.” In terms of being inside the t room, almost doesn’t cut it; you either are or you aren’t. In this case, the response implies you aren’t and a slay is needed here.

After talking to crowned about this report, my findings showed a slay was administered next map for this situation. While it could of been more timely, keep in mind he indeed was training a tmod on a rather populated server and that factors in a bit of slowdown in exchange for learning experience of the trial. In addition, I've looked over a few additional screenshots sent to me regarding the handling of the slay itself. Seems a mistake did indeed happen somewhere along the line, but it was remedied and a slay on the moderator's behalf was served prior to this report.

Regardless of verdict here, I’m sure all parties learned a thing or two.
